This brightly formatted book includes concise tips, packing lists, resources, travel quotes and more. Included is everything from how to pack light to managing anxiety while traveling to public transportation tips (I wish I would have known there were women-only taxi services in London while I was there!) I loved the travel experiences included throughout, and have a few quotes that really stick out at me too, such as the following: "There are both a warrior and a curious child inside of you that come to the surface when immersed in new cultures. You learn things about yourself that only those circumstances could have taught you. You give pieces of yourself to the people you meet, and they leave pieces of themselves embedded with you forever." - Evita Robinson
I also really appreciated that there were sections devoted specifically to travelers of color and LGBTQIA+ travelers. This really does have something for any traveler who identifies as female or wants tips specifically on traveling safely alone, whether you're traveling pregnant or traveling with menopause, whether you like adventure or you'd rather relax once you've arrived. There are also chapters on sustainable travel, how to volunteer with animals while traveling, and how readers can support other women while traveling, which were my favorite sections. This is definitely a travel guide I plan to pick up again and again!

This hThe cover alone enticed me to check out this travel resource, which promises readers information on all 59 National Parks in the United States. This has some of the most beautiful travel photography I think I’ve ever seen, and just enough info on each location to spark your wanderlust! It includes suggested itineraries, recommendations and planning tips, and even guides on how to snap the best pictures you can on your trips. I appreciated the lists that also told readers which parks were the most underrated and how to avoid crowds, but overall the photography was my favorite part of this! I kept it on the coffee table a few extra days because the cover was just gorgeous and I found myself wanting to flip through it a few extra times to look at the photographs again!
This is one to slowly look through and enjoy, but be prepared for your wanderlust to bloom!

From tiny houses to weird buildings to lighthouses and tunnels, readers find out all sorts of oddities that pop up around one of my favorite cities in the world. From a nose popping out of the Admiralty Arch to why there are fake houses in West London's Bayswater, this is packed full of fascinating facts.
I found it extra interesting to read about places I've seen in person, like the OXO tower and the Winchester Palace rose window (and a few that I somehow missed by not looking up enough apparently, like the King's Cross lighthouse), while also loving how much it sparked my wanderlust for my next trip to London. My only caveat was that the entire book was in black and white, which I think lessened the impact of it slightly and made it less exciting than I think it could have been overall. Otherwise, a fun read for fans of London from afar or those of us who have visited it and fell in love with the city!

Trips are organizeIn this beautifully-illustrated travel book, readers are guided through unforgettable journeys that are sure to inspire wanderlust! Trips are organized by mode of travel: on foot, by road, by bike, by water, and by rail, and then further by continent. As someone who loves (and misses travel, especially abroad), I found myself marking many trips I'd love to take or do part of in the future, like the Scottish Highlands walk from Perth to Stirling, or the Wild Atlantic Way walk through Ireland. This was also really fun to look through as someone who has traveled over seas quite a bit already, as I recognized a few routes I've already taken. especially by train. This book full of awe inspiring photos is sure to spark a desire to travel in its readers!

This travel atlas covers the entire globe, providing highlights for each country or region, along with sample itineraries to help jump start a trip. As an atlas, there are maps and pictures provided for a reference point as you go through the book. I found the book to be half recommended places to visit and half travel agent, planning many itineraries for wherever one would like to travel in the world...even Antarctica!
I love to travel myself and I spent a lot of time going through the book finding new places to travel to and great recommendations! It took me a long time to get through it all, but I'm glad that I did! My list has expanded so much and I have decided that I need to purchase this book to keep as a reference for my future endeavors.
Whether you love to travel and want to skip around in the book to simply peruse or you want to plan a detailed trip, this is the perfect book for you. Beware, this will definitely feed your wanderlust!

As someone who's lived in this amazing city, I thought Lonely Planet did a great job picking some of the top attractions for a city where there's something to see around every corner (in my very biased opinion!). This resource allows you to mix and match experiences, with essential travel and restaurant information for each attraction, so you can plan a few days in one of the world's greatest cities.
