It feels too bittersweet. It’s great to see the final conclusion to Hades and Sofia’s story, yet I know im gonna miss them the most.

In this book, there is a lot of pain and angst almost to the end, yet everything is worth to see them finally happy and together, without no one to break them apart.
I truly enjoyed to see a switch on the dynamics these characters had, to experience how madly in love she could be and how he didn’t care at all. Slowly, she lures him to get her husband back, proving how much love these two have.
Honestly this series is unique on its way because it has different tropes going on during each installment, it’s fast paced, plot filled and has all the hot scenes we all crave.

It has been a while since I read anything by Penelope Sky, yet somehow It feels like it was yesterday. As always, I was into the story by the first chapters and I know for sure this will become another fav series by hers.
This particular series begins with the future reading of a gypsy to Hades, our protagonist. Some time later, through his work, he crosses paths with Sofia Lombardi, which becomes his downfall from the beginning.
What begins with s** without commitment, evolves to something stronger than that, problem is that Sofia refuses to commit, something that Hades craves as ever.
I loved how unique the story is and to see how a heroine is the one who seeks a relationship without commitment, making her intentions clear from the start. I must confess, that I am very curious to see how things progress between them on book two ...more

The heroine, Tate, sleeps with her sister's boyfriend, Jameson, and because of that, she loses all her fortune and family, having to start from scratch. A few years later, they meet again and despite having different lives, their spark emerges as intense as the first time.
As good as it all sounds, my biggest issue is that as the plot progresses, when it seems that we will really see its romance, it is never seen. The whole plotline becomes ridiculous and kinda repetitive which nade me lose my whole interest in the last book of the trilogy.
Honestly, I wish the romance was developed because as I said, it had a lot of potential. Sadly, idk why the author chose to keep the story focused mainly on their s*x and not on something more meaningful as love.
And for that, that’s why I didn’t like this book. The trilogy as itself lost any meaning to me and I won’t read any other novela or short story from this world. ...more

It has been years since I read any mafia romance, because I felt all the books I was reading were copies of previous ones I read. Surprisingly, this one captivated me for its unique setting.
For beginners, this one follows the story of two big mafia families who have been enemies for years: the Drakos’ family (greek mafia) and the Kildare’s family (irish mafia). To form a truce, they decide to unite their families, arranging Ares and Neve’s wedding.
From the very start, i could feel the tension between these two. But once they get married and get closer, I was sold. You need to understand these two are pretty passionate on the next level, so expect all these steamy scenes on it.
Aside their tension, there is going on a mystery almost since the start that brings all the edge and darkness we all love from mafia romance.
However, im giving it 3.5 stars because I wanted to see more development in terms of romantic bonds between Ares and Neve. Their s3xu@l tension was everything, yet I felt the emotions were forced towards the end, which made me sad because the storyline and setting are really cool.
Im excited to see how the series go on and to meet all the previous characters that were introduced on this book ...more

As always, it was a pleasure to read another Melanie Harlow’s story. She always nails it when it comes to small town-cozy vibes, as this book is.
The story follows a marriage in convenience situation between Devlin and Lexi. She needs to inherit the family’s manor, he needs to avenge his sworn enemy. But when you involve s*x in the equation and insane chemistry, things become complicated.
This story and setting had everything I need to love in a book, however I felt it was all rushed, so there was no feelings build up at all. Also, the characters had no growth, they stayed plain as ever.
Even so, I loved the chemistry that the protagonists have and how well she interconnects the plots of the secondary characters, letting us see the day to day of characters that we know, at the same time, that she anticipates what awaits us.
Honestly, i do recommend the story if you love fast paced reads with all the small town vibes and high spice.

Words cannot describe how freaking fantastic this read was. It was my first MM romance that i ever read, yet I can say Rina delivered as always.
I was too consumed by Bran and Niko from the very start. I was always interested to get into Bran’s head and Im glad I had the pleasure to meet him.
Before reading it, be aware this is such a complicated story due to all the emotions these two experience, not talking about coming out, but them fighting their own demons and fears.
Their story is full of emotions as joy, frustration, anger, angst, madness and heartbreak, but as I said, Rina pulled her heart out with this one.
Bran and Niko may be opposites, yet their chemistry and love are unique as no other couple. I fell in love with them and Im glad they found each other.
FYI, we get to see the previous characters and their beloved ones once again, which was a pleasure. Also, can I say Levi is the best dad out of all the RES characters? I freaking love him and his kids, im glad we got his own chapter.
As for other characters, im here for Eli and Ava’s story. I can sense there will be lots of angst and drama, but guess what? I know Rina will do them justice.
God of fury delivered everything I want in a book: lots of love, drama, emotions, family and friends relationships and spice. Highly recommend it!!!...more

This book has been everywhere, so usually the most popular reads tend to be a boring one for me, but this one is definitely worth the hype!!
This is my second read by the author and I can tell her writing really improved. She has a way with words and storytelling that makes you vision her storylines.
One of my biggest weakness is those over the top heros that fall for their women first and they become obsessed by them. Christian Harper is one of those.

Another read by miss Maura and I can tell you she knows how to write arranged marriage/marriage of convenience with the perfect possessive hero.
This one is about Luca and his secretary Valentina. They have been working together for eight years now, so when grandma Anne announces Luca will be the next in line to marry, he uses one convenient situation to persuades Valentina to marry him.
At first, they explore their insane chemistry, but slowly Luca wants more, but Val refuses to open to him. It was kinda unique how the one working so hard to get the girl was the mmc, instead of the fmc, which i appreciated a lot. Luca slowly does little things for Val that makes her fall for him hard. He might have done questionable stuff at first, yet he redeemed his actions and proved he loved her fiercely.
As for Val, im glad she is an ambitious workaholic woman, that proves she is more that someone’s else employee. She manages to fight everyone, including Luca, yet she is the sweetest woman who has been thru a lot of pain in her life. Don’t worry, as you imagine, she will have her HEA as a Windsor, including a 10 years after epilogue, with the cutest final ever!!!
Honestly, I did love the book from the very beginning to the end and Im dy*ng to get into Sierra’s book whenever it’s coming. Im so curious about her and Xavier ...more

Catharina Maura has done it again!! Trust me when I say that your expectations will be fulfilled.
As the fourth Windsor’s sibling, and after three successful marriages, it’s time for Zane to marry the one his grandma chooses. The thing is that Zane has always been in love with Celeste, so when his heart is broken and left behind, imagine the surprise when his grandma announces that his soon-to-be bride is Celeste Harrison.
The story is split in two timelines. The first one, when they are madly in love and they start dating, knowing that their families are rivals, which makes them fight against all the odds.
Then, the second one, focuses on the present time, when they are apart for several years after something broke them beyond repair. This time, they are forced to marry for the sake of their families. The thing is that lust and love are there, but there isn’t trust anymore.
There is lots of longing, as expected they have always loved each other, yet the two of them are hurt, so expect all the angst and emotions until the very end.
Honestly, I did love to see them fall harder on present time, but damn Catharina managed to rip my heart out with all the emotions she managed to write in this story. As expected, each couple of the series is quite different from each other, which makes this entire series so unique.
I felt so bad for Celeste because all her actions were meant to not hurt her environment, sadly she did and she deals with all the consequences all alone, with no one to stand for her. For that, I am kinda mad no one in the Windsor family helped her when she was all alone, knowing how much in pain she was.
As for Zane, I felt him and besides him being a bit cruel to Celeste, he was there whenever she needed him and for that he is my favorite out of all Windsor’s siblings.
If you love longing and angst, but also second chance trope, please give this book a try!!...more

Monica’s a way with words, she engulfes you from the very start until the end, so it’s easy to fly thru her books. And this had no difference.
The thing is that everything that went on was expected, which didn’t have me as addicted as the first two books. But the thing I disliked the most is how many times the word “wife” was used. It felt too repetitive and boring, to the point I was not interested in said chapter.
Now back to the story, i did like Perry and Charlotte’s conclusion. They got their HEA after everything going on. I wish we got to know more about Perry, as much as we met Charlotte’s. But that wasn’t the case, so keep that in mind.
Overall, the trilogy is worth to read if you are looking for a fast paced read, featuring arranged marriage and complicated family dynamics....more

But im glad If you read book one on the series, we all know that Sylvie was kinda the villain in that book, which made me hesitant to read her story.
But im glad i gave it a chance to see her redeem her actions. Tbh I pitied her and what she has been thru. She was abused by her own mother and neglected by her family. For that, she was toxic to everyone who was kind to her, which is understandable.
Im glad she found Spencer Donato who has always been there for her. The thing is that for years she used him and never took him serious. As the story starts, they reconnect again and they get to have a second chance.
Tbh im quite picky when it comes to romance, so this time I didn’t connect with these two as I wanted to. Yes, they deserved to be together, but their romance was quite bland. No emotions at all, which made me just like them, not love them as the previous couples.
Just so yk, the story fully evolves about Sylvie and her relationship with her mother, more than the romance itself. The story behind it, is quite original, i just didn’t like the conclusion, it was too rushed.
Honestly, I think Monica has better stories worth the read. It was cute, but not perfection to my taste....more

It has been a while since I read something as consuming as the wrong bride and for that this is a solid 5 ⭐️ read to me. Ares and Raven are everything and more. Their love was is the making for years and once they are forced to marry, things slowly evolve to true love.
Ngl, there is a lot of drama going on regarding the mmc’s ex, which happens to be Raven’s sister. So expect angst, longing and heartbreak. But Ares redeems himself, by doing everything he can to prove his love to Raven. As for her, i wish she was more confident, bc yeah I understand her family are the reason she is insecure, but damn Raven was a badass hardworking woman that had a heart of gold.
These two together had insane chemistry from the very beginning, which increases once they marry. But ofc there is a lot of swoon scenes between them, which made it easy to fall in love with them.
As for the side characters, I love all the Windsor men and how supportive they were towards Raven, but I also loved so hard Sierra and Alanna, they were there for her whenever she needed them.
Honestly this whole read is too addictive, drama filled and has lots of characters that I cannot wait to meet each in the upcoming books. Well done Catharina!!! You truly wrote such an amazing story in an incredible word....more
