Words cannot describe how freaking fantastic this read was. It was my first MM romance that i ever read, yet I can say Rina delivered as always.
I was too consumed by Bran and Niko from the very start. I was always interested to get into Bran’s head and Im glad I had the pleasure to meet him.
Before reading it, be aware this is such a complicated story due to all the emotions these two experience, not talking about coming out, but them fighting their own demons and fears.
Their story is full of emotions as joy, frustration, anger, angst, madness and heartbreak, but as I said, Rina pulled her heart out with this one.
Bran and Niko may be opposites, yet their chemistry and love are unique as no other couple. I fell in love with them and Im glad they found each other.
FYI, we get to see the previous characters and their beloved ones once again, which was a pleasure. Also, can I say Levi is the best dad out of all the RES characters? I freaking love him and his kids, im glad we got his own chapter.
As for other characters, im here for Eli and Ava’s story. I can sense there will be lots of angst and drama, but guess what? I know Rina will do them justice.

Grace Shaw is a broken girl, who deals with a lot of insecurities due to her damaged past. She is working in a taco truck during college year, when she meets West St Claire, the most popular boy in her college.
At first she is bitter with him because he reminds her of her past, but as time passes, she meets the real West and she falls for him.
Their story is emotional because they both share a broken past that changed them. But also they find in each the strength to fight for a better future.
My problems with the book are:

➡️ Some chapters were boring
➡️ West's attitude towards the heroine, especially in the part where he humiliates her

It follows the story between Lily Calloway and Loren Gray, two childhood friends who for 3 years pretend they are dating and live together, only to be able to live with their addictions, without their families knowing.
Lily is a s3x addict since she is 13 yo, while Loren is an alcoholic. The thing is that while fake dating they both have a good time together and love each other the most, but Lily doesn't want to ruin their friendship bc her own problems.
Things I loved from the book is the characters, the plotline and also the family concept in Lily's case.
It involves a little angst not only bc they both want to stop each other from their addictions, but also bc they don't share their feelings and keep hurting each other.

1.) The Calloways are known bc the father is the creator of Fizzles drink, while Hale Co is known for the baby products. They both are rich families.
2.) Lily has 3 sisters: Poppy which is the oldest one and she is married and has a child; Rose who graduated recently and rules Calloway's couture; Daisy which is the youngest one (she is 15 yo) and works as a model for IMG.
3.) Loren is clearly in love with her. He doesn't date or f*ck anyone and he tries to touch or kiss her wherever they are pretending to date. Lily believes he is only acting, but she thinks she isn't worthy and doesn't want to admit she loves him.
4.) Once back from a fraternity party, they have a passionate kiss outside their house. I laughed hard when Loren realized she s*cked someone's d*ck before lmao.

21.) Connor and her try to defend him but the owner has some cousins and they basically don't want them to leave. Then someone named Ryke Meadows shows and invents some story to give them time to leave.
22.) Ryke calls her out for letting him to be an alcoholic and forces her to let him help Loren to stop. The problem is that when she calls him out for his addiction, he attacks her with her own addiction.
23.) Another funny scene is when Lily brings Ryke to the house to start the plan, but turns out Loren starts talking about some p0rn film he wants her to watch while having s3x, to satisfy her the most.
24.) Loren doesn't like him at all and starts making out with her to try to kick him put, but Ryke is stubborn af and doesn't feel bothered at all.
25.) Thanks to his friendship with Lo and Lil, Connor asks Rose to date. He convinces her to go to some orchestra event she loves. She finally accepts.

28.) All the tension due to his mother and father makes Loren drink a lot. When they go to a club with Ryke and Connor, they both realize he is fcked up.
29.) All the anxiety she gets of Loren's situation, makes her have craves so she leaves to the bathroom, where a random dude wants to fck her. At first she let's him to kiss her, but she starts thinking about Loren and wants the dude to stop, but he doesn't want to. Thanks to Ryke and Connor, they save her from getting r@ped.
30.) Connor calls Rose and she shows out. While talking they realize something is wrong since Rose believes they are dating since 3 years ago, but Connot says they started dating recently. Lily finally confesses the truth.
31.) Loren confesses he started drinking to avoid his life without a mother and without a caring father. He drank what his father drinks usually, to get his attention and feel loved.
32.) After that, Loren tries to detoxify in the house with the help of a nurse. At the beginning it is so hard, but for two weeks he is able to. Till they attend to their parents event where they both are challenged to deal with their addictions, but they can't.
33.) Ryke is Sara and Jonathan Hale's son, so he is Loren's brother. We learn that the reason of their divorce was Loren cause Jonathan had a night one stand with some woman, which is Loren's real mom. But after abandoning her own child, Jonathan took him and raised him as he could.
34.) Ryke knows the truth since 7 years ago and he hated him at first cause his mother let him believe he is bad. But after following him, he realized he isn't as bad as his mom said. That's why he wants to help him out.
35.) Loren was kicked from uni and when his father found out they fight and Loren told him he will go to rehab to deal with his addiction. Ofc his father threatened him to took his money out if he did, but Loren didn't care.

For being a wattled story, this is way better than books like after and deserves better tbh.
The story follows Allie Harper, a college student who moves across the country to run away from her past (a superficial world were nothing matters but money). She is looking for a place to stay, but all the places she looked were bad. Her last chance is to visit the apartment of Mr. White.
When she goes there, turns out he is another college student around her age, but he refuses to have her bc she is a girl and he associates all girls with drama. After fighting for a while, he accept to have her as a roommate only if she follows 3 rules: he doesn't care about her problems, she has to stay shut if he brings someone else and they will NOT have s3x.
The thing is that the more they will meet each other, the more difficult to not break those rules.
If you are looking for a book around college time, that includes roommates trope and you get to see how the story evolve same time as the characters grow, this book is for you. The rest of the books in the series, follow the friends mentioned in the main book.

2.) In his first party, she meets Ethan and Monika. Ethan is the ex's roommate and Monika is his girlfriend. After talking for a while, they will get along. A memorable scene is when Allie calls out Sawyer for being hateful to Monika. This will one thing Kaden gonna appreciate from her.
3.) Allie is so close to Dawn and Scott. They meet the first day of college and they instantly clicked. They are gonna be a huge part of the story cause they will stand up for her and be the supportive friends we all want.
4.) Kaden invites Allie to go for a walk to the valley were they gonna know more about each other. He tells her his parents are divorced and that his dad is a businessman who rn lives with his own brother. He also run away from that life. In that scene, she tells him about her family being so rich, but that she hated the life she had with them for being superficial.
5.) We get to know that Allie wants to be a high school teacher to help out young students who may be troubled in that age (bc her past experience). Off her parents doesn't accept that life. Kaden is studying to be a journalist and as Allie, his dad also refused that path.
6.) Her mom finds out where she lives bc the GPS on her phone so she calls her out in front of Kaden. She keeps telling her how ugly and fat she looks, but also how she is ruining her own family. She also attacks Kaden for his looks. At the end, Kaden kicks her out and realises how harsh her mom is.
7.) That day bc of how bad Allie looks after her mom's visit, he stays in her room and they talk about his tattoo's and the meaning behind it. He stays there till she sleeps.
8.) Allie fails a subject, so she think once again about her mom's words. She feels so anxious so she decides to go out with her friend to a party. She gets so drunk that Dawn decides to call Kaden, who he realises she is still affected by her mom's words.
9.) As days pass, we get to see they are so alike: same troubled parents, same taste in music and deep talks. We also know that Allie is a huge Taylor Swift's stan, which Kaden dislike. One afternoon, Kaden invites her to go to the valley again, but this time he takes her to the waterfalls, where they swim together and realise how attracted they are to each other.
10.) Allie decides to have a bath since Kaden is going to be out for long. The thing is that he comes out before and goes to the bathroom as he usually does. She calls him out, he refuses to go out and they fight with cold and hot water, till the fall out and they are so close to kiss. He suddenly is nervous and leaves.
11.) Kaden brings pizza and she suddenly cries. We find out that Allie has never eat fast food as pizza or hamburgers. So her friends tell her they will eat fast food till she is tired of.
12.) Once in the club, they are talking about everyone's imperfections and they talk about Kaden's ex. He gets mad and leave, so Allie decides to stand up for him, same way he does for her. Instead of talking, she invites him to dance. They have a hot dance and they get turned on. They leave the club and once in the house, he kisses her and wants to make out too, but she refuses bc she feels it isn't right to do it.
13.) Allie tells Kaden how alone she gonna be on Thanksgiving and that she never had a conventional evening like anyone else. He decides to invite her to go celebrate Thanksgiving with his mom. Once there, they go around his old town and he tells her about his childhood and his favourite places.
14.) Her mom calls to tell her that her dad had an accident. Allie goes back to Denver only to find out it was a lie made by her mom. She gets mad and decides to stay in the most expensive hotel to spend her mother's money.
15.) Kaden shows out there as a surprise and they almost make out, but he refuses bc he believes it isn't the right time due to her mental condition. She gets to know more about his ex (they dated for years but she broke up with him).
16.) They go to the thanksgiving event, but there she sees Anderson so she starts to freak out. We get to know he used to s3xually abuse her for years, so when she decides to tell her mom, he pays more money to her parents business, which makes them do nothing about it. That is the main reason why she run away from home.
17.) They go back to home, but they aren't as close as before. After few days, Allie goes with Dawn to the club, but they meet Kaden and his friends there. Allie decides she has to go, but Spencer decides he wants to make Kaden jealous, to prove he cares about her. They dance so close and as expected, Kaden is so mad that he ends up sticking a fist to his eye.
18.) They leave and once in home after fighting, he confesses he is crazy for her and that he likes her a lot. She confesses the same and they end up sleeping with each other (the steamiest scene). After that scene, we get to see them more happy.
19.) One night, when they get back to home, his brother appears. We get to see how much Kendan hates him. Next day on evening, once Allie arrives home, she finds out Kaden kicked her but without any explanation.
20.) After several days, she moves out to a new place after staying with Dawn for a while. Once there, all her friends show up. They talk about Kaden and Spencer confesses the truth about Kaden: his ex was r@ped by his own brother (Alex), they broke up bc of that and also bc Kaden believed in his family, till he found out the truth.
21.) Kaden tells her he wants to talk with her, she doesn't answer till she arrives home and calls him. He comes and explains all and justify why he kicked her out. They decide they need time to move on.
22.) Kaden decides to bring her a gift every single day to make her happy. The day she has to meet the potential new roommates, he comes there and says he wants the room. He buys her a cat and finally they get back together.

3.) We get to see that after a month there is still no interaction besides starring at each other and having few interactions in class.
4.) Their first time together is in a party when they both have s3x to crush the attraction they have. Then Anna leaves him without saying another word but he gets to love her more. Their 2nd time together is in the library when they have rough s3x.

10.) We get to know that in college she got to meet Iris and her twin brother George, which are her bffs. They know about her story and her past. On the other hand, Drew knows a lot of people but we get to know he is close to Grey since high school, specially after he lost his parents. He felt Gray understood him bc he also lost his mom.
11.) When Drew goes to her house, they realise they are more alike than they thought: they listen to similar music and they feel both alone and misunderstood by people. They both are intelligent and sentimental. In that scene, Drew sings to her while playing the guitar.
12.) One funny scene is that after they hook up, Anna notices he has a tattoo in his butt. Drew says that once after a match, he got so drunk that next day he woke up in a place full with men and women naked and he found out the tattoo. Thats the reason why he doesn't drunk anymore but also why they call him "battle Baylor".
13.) A scene I loved is when he calls out a teacher for faking his marks only because his statue as the captain of the team. He gets mad bc he wonders if that situation happened before, so after telling Anna, she tells him "f*ck anyone who does that, you don't need that". He appreciates that because that's what he wanted to hear.
14.) Drew has a Camero that used to be his dad's car. He brings Anna for a ride and he let her drive for a while. In that scene, they kiss for the first time and they keep kissing each other for a while, till they get home and make love.
15.) Because of how close they are, Drew decides to kiss her in public, but Anna gets mad and starts to freak out because of the attention they bring. Drew misunderstood her reaction thinking she is ashamed to be with him. They broke up and everyone talk about them in social media.
16.) After few weeks apart, they both go on a date with different people but they match in the same club. Anna goes to the bathroom, and when she goes out Drew kisses her so passionate, but then leaves her.
17.) Drew leaves the club with his date and gets to know that everyone calls her red chicken bc they believe drew dumped her after finding out she is pregnant. Also he realises how people tr@shed on her.
18.) Anna realises she can't leave in the past and she has to move on and fight for her relationship with Drew. The thing is that the night she wants to talk with him he gets injured in his foot.
19.) She goes on the hospital, they start talking and she keeps going there till he is out from the hospital. In his home, he asks her to move out with him which she accepts. He also tells her he wants to marry her someday.
20.) Drew feels frustrated because what happened and he keeps pushing everyone out, even once he takes all his frustration towards Anna and asks her to leave. She refuses, they keep fighting till she loses her sh*t and starts crying. He regrets his actions and realise he needs to stop being destructive.
21.) Finally, we get to see 2 years forward and we get to see how happy they are. Drew and her moved to NY, she works in a cook show and he became a football player in an important team.
Overall, the story is good and it keeps you entertained. We get to see Anna's character development, but also Drew. I love the relation between Gray and Anna. I have to say Iris was the worst bff you could expect. She was never there when her friend needed her, but yet Anna was so supportive during Iris' break-up....more

As a Rina Kent's fan, let me tell you she writes great dark stuff with plot twists and steamy scenes. However this book wasn't as great as her previous ones cause the biggest plot twist was kinda revealed since the beginning, which made the story quite obvious.
I love how she connects so well the past with present, telling a story, but as I said it was kinda ruined for me bc the huge reveal was obvious to me.
Anyway, the main characters kinda reminded me of Aiden and Elsa, specially the hero, but they aren't half as great as them. I didn't feel their connection or chemistry and there wasn't a characters development.

The story follows a college student called Christina Ramirez who is having a troubling semester: she quits cheerleading, starts failing subjects, breaks up with her boyfriend and she feels pressured by her parents. She also lost all her savings in parties and inviting friends.
One night she meets this strange dude called Patrick in a club and feels pretty interested in him. After that they meet again in a frat's party, where he proposes her to make an arrangement: he doesn't want attachments just s3x and he will pay her for it. Due to her interest in him and her money's struggles, she accepts.
Since then they meet all mondays, wednesdays and fridays at midnight and she stays up there and gets the breakfast at morning.
My main problem with it is that the heroin was annoying because she knew what she was dealing with yet she accepted and she didn't try to find herself a job or focus on her future. Yes she kinda evolves to be more interesting when she faces reality and starts speaking the truth, but yet she is dumb for me.
Patrick had no character development: yes he had his own issues with his family and his ex-hook-up from Italy but he didn't speak about it with anyone and barely said a word to the heroin. That's why I didn't like the story at all.
Personally I loved Markus and Alexis, I wish we got to see more about them cause they were the greatest characters overall.
Sydney and Dexter definetly are tr@sh and they should have been punished. I don't know how Christina forgave them when they didn't deserve it.
The plot is interesting and the story didn't have any other entertainment besides their hook-up scenes and the last chapters when the story closes and everything is revealed. As I said, If you like submissive characters and erotic romance i guess this book is for you....more

The only perk of the story to me is that the last chapters went too fast and It felt unreal.
The attraction between Ben and Parks was undeniable and their romance evolved good. From best friends, to friends with benefits to lovers. So if you are looking for that trope this book is for you. We also get to see their both point of view.
I also hated Parker sometimes cause I felt she was annoying and sometimes she played with Ben's feelings. But well the story is cute and entertaining, with a food development....more

The story start with Avery's first day in college. She is late to attend to her class so she starts running, when in the stairs she hits somebody accidentally, that turns out to be Cameron. He is going to astronomy class as her. After that, she sees him again while going to find her car to go to home.
On midnight, she can't sleep because his neighbour is doing a party, so she opens the door to go there, but turns out she meets again Cameron. He tells her he is her neighbour. Since that they casually meet while going to college or in astronomy's class.
He keeps asking her out and she keeps refusing, so they become friends and hangout. The problem is that Avery starts falling for him but due to her damaged past, she keeps denying her feelings. When their undeniable chemistry keeps growing up, they date and realise they both fell for each other.
Cameron also has a troubled past, so they both are trying to move out from it, but it keeps coming out, which damages the relation they have (specially Avery's past).
As you all expect, they fix their own problems and end up together. The final is a satisfying one, you won't regret to read it.
One of the things I loved the most about the book was Cameron's character. He is a handsome/sexy man with a charming smile and he treats women good, unlike the typical popular guys on romantic books. He is adorable, he respects Avery's decisions and he never forces her to do anything against her will. He also doesn't give up on her and even if she rejects him a hundred times, he keeps trying to gain her with his pet and cookies (yes he cook!). That is a thing I appreciated a lot!
Avery's character is also well done, she is shy, beautiful and innocent, but yet she is strong and funny, so I loved she isn't dependent of the main guy and she tries to fix her own problems without "bothering" the closest people to her.
Finally, I loved the fact that even if they have attraction since almost day 1, we got to see the characters go from friends to lovers, so they got to meet each other before dating, unlike most romantic books. If you are looking for a romantic book involving college, friends to lovers trope and a charming main character, this is the book you need to read asap!!...more
This book kept the charm that book #2 has which is good. I love we got to see more about the tour life, fame, pregnancy, parenthood, etc.

Griffin and Anna relationship and being parents was definitely a yes for me! Griffin went from being a menwh0re with no responsibility to became a mature man, caring husband and dad, but he kept his charm after all.
We also got to see the D-bags journey on the road and how they went from an unknown band to a famous one, which made me appreciate the book.
On the other hand, we also got to see Kiera and Kellan's relationship grew, in terms of maturity, love and faith. I hated the Sienna story but it was cute to see Kellan staying true to himself and defending his wife whenever he felt people disrespected her. Nothing but respect for Kellan Kyle.
My fav moments were Kellan and Kiera being on the road together, when Kellan decorated a room to surprise her, Anna and Griffin accepting their feelings, Kellan talking with his parents in the cemetery, Kellan and Kiera coming out to the world and telling the people the real tea about their story, the accident, the wedding (my fav scene), real fans supporting Kellan and Kiera and Ryder.
The book had a great ending (expected but definitely a cute one) and we got to see how everyone had a happy ending.
If you are looking for a non conventional romantic story, involving fame and a love triangle, this is your book. Not only you get to see a love story, but also it talks about fame, friendship and family.
The whole saga is worthy and my fav book is effortless, but the story is worth to be read....more
