SOO ya. This book, Only Adam.
Adam is a professional dancer who is just now rebuilding his life after a shit Storm that started when he was only 16 years old. He has sworn he will never depend on anyone ever again, and this self imposed rule gets put to the test when he spends the night with a man he’s had his eye on.
Christoffer Doval is older, a well established businessman man who does not want to play the field. He’s not interested in lining up one night stands. He wants a life, a home, comfort, stability and most importantly, love.
Enter Adam.
Christoffer is instantly transfixed by Adam, everything about him. But there’s more than meets the eye to Adam, and Christoffer can tell the dancer is just trying to protect himself - but from what? He is determined to be the safe place Adam wants and needs, but first he has to prove he can be.
This novella follows the journey of these men from their instant connection, through “I’m scared of thi vulnerable moments, and more.

This is the first Lily book I’ve given 5⭐️ to and considering how much I love her other series, that’s insane. I did not expect it. I’ll eventually come back to clean up this review which will surely be rambling but for now here are my quick take aways:
Greid and Beryl are amazing layered characters and both SO RELATABLE. All things considered this was a low angst character driven plot and I was never bored. Ever. Not once. Almost 600 pages of constant entertainment.
What i really loved is that Lily, as always, gave us a world without a heteronormative narrative as the driving force. For that simple reason alone I’d be obsessed but this was just EVERYTHING.
Greid is a big monster that prefers to veg out, smoke shade, make jewelry, and watch his shows. With snacks. Always food. He is submissive which isn’t the norm for his kind, & he is the SWEETEST most socially awkward being to ever do it. Also, he can’t see someone else cry without being set off into hysterics himself. He also gets the zoomies. Which is adorable.
Beryl hasn’t had an easy life. Abandoned by her negligent father on the steps of a cult that her Aunt lived at, she grew up around adults, no other kids, didn’t go to school, and is completely naive about the world. Going to live with Greid flips everything she knows upside down and tests her confidence, but she dommes the hell out Greid in the sack and honestly it might be the thing that helped her find herself.
Beryl and Greid are the cutest couple LITERALLY EVER. Best friends. Life partners. Couch buddies. I just love them....more

Noa Hayles owns me. My fav character. His hilarity is unmatched. The dynamic between he and KC - heathens as Cam would say - is so everything and it REALLY shined in this book.
The development of each relationship really solidified as well, not just between the core couples but between all four men in every different pairing. I am obsessed with them.

✨SUMMARY✨ Leia is jilted by her twat waffle boyfriend and goes on a solo cruise only to end up shipwrecked alone on a deserted island. Except it’s not actually deserted so much as isolated from the rest of the world and completely filled with beings from ancient Greek myth - most notably, monsters from 12 labors of Heracles.
Every single character was created with their own personality, way of talking, little quirks and traits that set them apart which is a feat in itself - I was NEVER confused about which human name belonged to which monster - and there was a lot!
The Monsters Ambrose - Nemean Lion aka Daddy Timyn - Hydra aka Brat Krysos - Golden Hind aka mischievous beauty Julius - Boar aka Grumpy dirty talker Vann - Kraken aka WHY AM I HERE?! Zephyr - Stymphalian Bird aka Murder Beak Phillipos - Centaur aka Why Do Humans?! Chamenos - Minotaur aka Sweet Baby Geryon- Giant aka Tantric Trauma Therapist 1 Orthrus- Hellhound aka Tantric Therapist 2 Ladon - Dragon aka Body Autonomy Master Cerberus - Hellhound aka Exhibitionist
This isn’t a RH read so much as it’s a large polycule of bi/pan monsters, some more possessive then others, with established relationships and MANY mated pairs. All of them are bonded in brotherhood, and some more, being mated to not only her but another in the group as well. The way they all lift each other up ...more
