In my opinion, I did not enjoy reading the novel CHAT ROOM by Kristin Butcher. The novel is about a teenage girl named Linda who joins a school chat room and meets a boy. Linda was not going to join the chat room because her friend told her that there are bad people on there but Linda did anyways. One part of the novel I did not like is when Linda tries to meet this person in the chat room in real life. I do not think that it was a good idea to do that because it could have been someone she did not like or someone weird. Another part of the novel I did not like is when she lies to her parents. Linda told her parents that she was going to the mall when Linda was actually going to the dance. I thought that this was a terrible choice of her to do and if something had happened to her, then her parents would not know where she would be. In conclusion, I would recommend this novel to anyone who likes teen drama.
