Honestly, I really enjoyed this book more as I read it a second time. The first time, I was confused and felt lost, but of course, it was still amazing! But now, after a second time, it was definitely a more fast and exciting roller coaster ride. Another 5 star read for me :D

Page 39: I already laughed so much and I'm barely 18 pages in. Like, I'm kinda weird, please don't judge. Anyhow, honestly don't know why Kady and Ezra broke up. They seem to still love each other, but hey, who am I to judge other people's relationships since my love-life sucks. To add onto my weirdness, I found the 'Interviewer' very funny. He, I assume he's a guy, is very monotone and somewhat like a robot. Idk, he just seems funny. *insert smiley face here* Those pictures of the ships are super cool! The 'Alexander,' 'Hypatia,' and 'Copernicus' are awesome! They give some real good info for the story. Kady's username is 'ByteMe' LOL. Happy birthday, Ezra ♡

"E: You're taping this, right? I: Audio only. Camera is faulty. E: Okay, well for the benefit of the sight-impaired, I am now raising my... oh, dear... yes, it's my middle finger at Mr. Postgrad here. I: Mr. Mason... E: Now I'm wiggling it. Look at it wiggl-"

This was downright hilarious! Love Ezra already ♡



Page 72: I loved when Ezra rolled his face across the keyboard LOL. Oh no, Copernicus..... The 8 pages of people's names are pretty cool. I'm going to try to find my first name. Wish me luck. Also, the 4 pages of the faces were freakin' awesome!

"I haven't been able to stop thinking about you."

See, Kady still loves Ezra. Ezra and James' conversion had me laughing so hard.



Page 120: #Kerza or #Ezry or whatever the heck Kady and Ezra's ship name is. I really enjoy reading Kady's private journal. It shows a different side of Kady and just makes me love her character even more. Something is wrong with AIDAN... Apparently, Kady is a 'spider monkey.' LOL. I love McNulty's sense of humor. OMG Kady finally directly contacted Ezra! They seem perfect for each other, tbh. At least she cares about how he's doing even though they've broken up. Waking AIDAN up seems like a terrible idea to me. I feel bad for what happened to those two people in Ezra's crew... :(

"Did u ever consider the possibility I just think ur cute when you're angry?"

Really cute how Ezra is blunt with his feelings towards Kady. Damn, that 'I'm sorry' rose is frickin' romantic.



Page 175: Oh my god, Ezra sends Jimmy a picture of Kady and he's staring at the pic while typing one-handed LOL Uh oh, Jimmy has gone missing... Ew, this Teresa lady has a thing for Ryker. Gross. This virus thing is kinda creeping me out. Jimmy did the right thing. *inserts crying emoji*

"Kady i DO love you. god. you're all i think about. Every time I close my eyes, i see you. Every time I dream, you're there. I think about us and how i messed up and it's like someone is tearing my insides out."

Oh my, Ezra still loves her.

"but i fucking love you too. and I won't be okay if you get yourself shot. so please, please just don't. please don't make me sit over here freaking out about what you might be doing."

Oh my my, Kady still loves him.



Page 308: So much stuff just happened in the last 100 pages and it’s taking a long time for my brain to process it. But of course, it was all super exciting! Anyways, Stephanie LeFevre is such a weirdo and Dorian is just like , ‘Hell no.’ LOL.

E: Damn, I still remember the first day in her class. You were checking me out HARD, Grant. K: U. R. DELUSIONAL. u kept asking me stupid questions about hydrogen bonding. E: confession: hydrogen bonding was not the kind of bonding on my mind.

LOL *laughs*

E: How is your mom anyways? I would literally swim the few thousand klicks of vacuum between Alexander and Hypatia for some of her dessert. K: Yeah, I always knew what you were really at my place for. E: Hey, you should thank her. I owe this manly physique almost entirely to her home cooking. *flexes*

I love this convo between them.

Captain Ann Chau… She was such a nice person, so much nicer than that Torrence guy. Kady’s mom… Oh my god *tears* Also loved the convo between Ezra and Kady when he admits to thinking about kissing Kady in his head and how he’s such an idiot for waiting so long to make the first move. *doubling over in laughter* Damn, that heart Ez made for Kades had my heart melting into two. AIDAN is awake. Look at all those beautiful pages! General David Torrence… And the infamous line of this entire book:

”Am I not merciful?”

Hand down my most favorite line in the entire book. AIDAN opened Hanger 4?! WHAT THE FUCK?!



Page 599: Damn. These past 300 pages were fucking intense. And me likey! I swear, I couldn’t put the book down once the ‘intenseness’ started. (Don’t know if that’s a word lol) I don’t want to keep this review going on and want to end it here. But let me just say this, I freaking LOVE AIDAN! He is, hands down, my most favorite character as of right now. Though he isn’t a real person and is just an AI, I love him. He’s very unpredictable and sometimes makes you pissed, but really, he’s pretty great. Oh my god and at the end, Kady is Illuminae and talking to Ezra’s mom. Now, she sounds like an even bigger bitch than how Ez described her. And their kiss… CUTE! ♡



To conclude, this book was fucking amazing. Even more so than the first time I read it. Legit, I need to go buy Gemina now. I think I'm going to die because that book is my air! ;)
