As a fan of the TV show, I jumped at the chance of reading the comic when I saw it available for loan on Comics Plus. The first volume of the comic offers shorts featuring members of the family, starting off with the odd imaginings of Tina Belcher. The format was okay, but it doesn't follow the lengthier stories that made the show great. As such, I didn't enjoy it as well. However, it is enjoyable enough for me to read other volumes.
