Sweet book that can help children who are experiencing separation anxiety during school. Activities to include would be to have students write a family tree on a piece of construction paper and detail a memory with each leaf. Students could also write a sentence on what makes that person special to them. Students could also write a letter to that special family member and let them know why they think they are so special to them. Would be interesting to do this with 2 members of their family and have one sent via email and the othedr using traditional mail. This would expose children to both means of communicating.
