Angie You are much more generous in your take on this novel than I was. But your review is witty!

Lyn Thanks Angie

Allyson This epitomises Miller's work and I still think it is his best bar for his travel writing, Colossus of Maroussi, and his memoirs The Air conditioned Nightmare and Big Sur and the Oranges of Hieronymous Bosch. I have to say that the Villa Seurat group were an entertaining lot.
