Minority opinion but still worth it. What the everloving hell was that?!!
Do you know about the scenario where a train wreck is going to happen and it is ugly but you can still can't pull your eyes away?! That train wreck was this book.
The writing style was really weird to the point I wanted to go to sleep (this coming from a girl who loves exploring new writing styles ). The FMC was annoying and to be very honest, torturous. The hero, Sean, is ridiculously and wholly manipulative and there's no concept of love in his ways. I was partly fascinated and partly disgusted. I mean, the guy can give Ted Bundy a run for his money in manipulation and word games. I did not like Sean at all, obvs. Also, the story is not very interesting at all till 90%. And Forgive me if I don't think that many pages is a good price to pay for excitement during just 10% of the book which ends in a Cliffhanger 🤦🤦 kill me now.
The only character that I liked is Dominic and I would like to see where that goes. Also, i will continue the next book for my "quest for answers".
PS- Easy forgiveness!! I can't. The girl couldn't hold onto her anger for more that 1 day (when Sean calls her to her office, she forgives him and starts pining, ughhhhhh) Frustration is my new friend.

Dude, thank the Gods and Jesus and everyone that this one was not read on Christmas. I could've gone on a festive murder spree, it was that bad.
*Sheepish* really sorry❣️

GURLL lets just say it only gets worse, don’t read the second book anytime soon if you don’t want to go on that festive murder spree Lolol 😂
The second book is even worse. I know I’m being harsh but it seriously made me want to strangle everyone!!
I honestly did not see the hype with this book it just screamed we live in a society to me and Sean gives me major incel vibes
@Lu Han lmao, it means that I should get my murder kit cuz I already started it.😂 Still wary of the train wreck lol
@Bookssica You are not being harsh at all. I was equally frustrated! You need to DM me to give me second book spoilers dude. Consider it your gift to humanity and save me from that murder spree lol
@Castle True that! Some of his ideas were very ridiculous especially the weed one. Ughh, what's worse is that the whole secret society build-up didn't even pan out at last. It was all about one guy🤦
@Duchess Babe, I don't know about anyone else but I am 200% sure you would have hated it if you read.
I am gonna offer Angel a good piece offering, just you wait ;)
Lmao, ofc you would take no pity on me and want me on that spree

I don’t get the hype either I really could get into it! I even tried book 2 and thought WTF is this horrible!
@Nicole Hale Just finished skimming book 2 to curb my curiosity and yes, i agree with you that it gives all the horrible WTF moments. Very overrated
I got halfway through and had to see if anyone was turned off by the blatant manipulation. Ted Bundy feels like an apt comparison.

Right?!! This book was a headache in itself😬

I just read it and knew we would think the same. I don't see all the fuss about this story?! I don't want to offend anyone but this was an average read. Nothing special. And honestly, I'm not in the mood for reading book2.
