Whew! That was truly a long slog at almost 400 pages. Definitely the last “Trump book” I can stomach reading. Just too difficult to read the actual quotes of how this guy speaks privately and then realize he’s the President of the United States. Extremely demoralizing. If the dialogue wasn’t taken from actual tapes I would like to disbelieve it!
Anyway, read this book at your peril. The one thing I did find interesting was the tracking from the beginning of who knew what and when about the coronavirus. Otherwise this was a 3.5 read for me, rounded up just because I actually finished the entire book without completely losing it.

You’re a far stronger person than I am, Lyn! Here’s hoping that come next January, Bob Woodward can finally retire and nobody but the most masochistic of presidential historians will ever feel the need to write a book about Trump ever again! 🙏😅

You're stronger than me, Lyn. I borrowed this today and tried reading it, but 25 pages in and I just cannot stand to read another thing out of his mouth. UGH! If I could read it without hearing his voice MAYBE I could get through it, but nope. Just can't with him. As Yun said, hopefully we don't have to stomach him as president for much longer.
Yun and Jenna, I’m with the two of you - hopefully come this Tuesday we’ll be done with this guy. Woodward’s book was OK, but if you really want some juicy insight regarding this character I would suggest Mary Trump’s book. Much better read. 😐
