All I could think after finishing this book is what the fuck did I just read? but like in a good way I think? This is unlike anything I’ve ever read before and it’s pretty bizarre and strange and I don’t think I’d necessarily recommend this to everyone... but I was very highly entertained by this. And my mind was blown many times. I know this book will probably get a lot of comparison to Verity, but this book is nothing like Verity, it’s a completely different monster. This is Colleen’s first paranormal romance, and I didn’t realize just how paranormal and creepy this book would get - I was kind of obsessed with it 😅
I would recommend going into this book knowing as little as possible because it’s quite the journey.

In what way is the book paranormal?
Jennifer, I loved Behind her eyes (can't wait to watch on Nerflix) too and yes, you might like this one. Just have in mind that the characters are young adults in Layla.

I didn't like Verity. Do you think I'll enjoy this one? because there's too many comparisions :(

SAME! I just finished it and I’m still in shock😃
I also gave five stars for originality ha ha! I feel like I should have been able to see where it was going but I didn't! That was nuts.

I COMPLETELY agree with this comment!!! I couldn’t of said it any better than this. Reading this book i was completely taken over by it all but i also kept saying what the hell am i reading and why is Leeds allowing willow to do this… But i couldnt put my kindle DOWN….
Definitely was a WOW book
Yess at first I was confused like what the hell but it ended up being good
I didn’t get to the “wtf am I reading” until the last two or three chapters because the rest of the book had me hooked. The ending definitely disappointed me a bit though.
Agree with you and all of the comments- I was really weirded out by the book in the 2/3 if it and honestly was going to rate it like 2 or 3 stars just from the weirdness. But the ending was so unexpected and soooo good that I am think like 4-5 stars. It was a mind f***
