4.5 stars
All I could think after finishing this book is what the fuck did I just read? but like in a good way I think? This is unlike anything I’ve ever read before and it’s pretty bizarre and strange and I don’t think I’d necessarily recommend this to everyone... but I was very highly entertained by this. And my mind was blown many times. I know this book will probably get a lot of comparison to Verity, but this book is nothing like Verity, it’s a completely different monster. This is Colleen’s first paranormal romance, and I didn’t realize just how paranormal and creepy this book would get - I was kind of obsessed with it 😅
I would recommend going into this book knowing as little as possible because it’s quite the journey.

Would you recommend this to people who liked Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough????? Because I LOVED that one so much!!!
Jennifer, I loved Behind her eyes (can't wait to watch on Nerflix) too and yes, you might like this one. Just have in mind that the characters are young adults in Layla.
Piper Koy, like objects moving by itself and so on. Sorry, I can't tell you more without give spoiler.
I was looking for a new book to read and your review has helped me pick one! Thanks! Can’t wait to start this tonight!
I also gave five stars for originality ha ha! I feel like I should have been able to see where it was going but I didn't! That was nuts.
I completely agree with this review!! Not reading the summary on the back of the book was the best idea because it anticipates a LOT
I COMPLETELY agree with this comment!!! I couldn’t of said it any better than this.
Reading this book i was completely taken over by it all but i also kept saying what the hell am i reading and why is Leeds allowing willow to do this… But i couldnt put my kindle DOWN….

I didn’t get to the “wtf am I reading” until the last two or three chapters because the rest of the book had me hooked. The ending definitely disappointed me a bit though.
