Cards of Love: The Pope is a taboo contemporary romance full of action and intrigue. Judas is a priest who also comes from a well-established mafia family. Delilah is a young woman seeking safety from an abusive ex. When she finds solace in the church, she also seeks comfort from Judas, who is happy to provide. As the passion between the two continues to build, they have many obstacles to overcome to be together.

As the passion between the two continues to build, they have many obstacles to overcome to be together.
“Forgive me, father, for I have sinned.”Overall, Cards of Love: The Pope will appeal to taboo romance fans who enjoy a heavy dose of scandal in their reads. The passion between the main characters is off the charts, and I was certainly rooting for them every step of the way. This was my first L.P. Lovell book, and I am certainly excited to check out more of her work!
