did not like it

I'm so confused as to the love of this book. Goodreads has lead me to almost all of the books I've read and yet it lead me to this one. I'm confused. Why on earth is this book getting such good reviews, it was awful. Truly terrible. It was badly written like a book and it offended my senses.

The part where he sees her drive past him and immediately falls in love? What?! Then they meet awkwardly and apparently she feels like she's in love with him too (he wasn't even described to be that hot, he's wearing a kilt for gods sake and theres no mention of 'even in a kilt he looked surprisingly manly' or 'the kilt was enticing because i wonder what is under it'...none of that he's just described as a man in a skirt....ooo shivers...).

The whole meeting of the couple was just bad. Some books have that love at first sight thing and even though you think it's a bit silly but you get over it because it's a book about vampires or something and that in itself is quite silly when you think about it, but theyre well written you barely notice the fact they've just met in good books.
Here its like: 1.Meet 2.Im in love with you, never let me go....
if that was real life it would go more like this: 1.Meet 2. I'm in love with you, never let me go 3. RESTRAINING ORDER

It's just awkward don't bother with it if i were you...

Classic. And funny. Thank you Kristiane. I will steer clear.

April First of all you would have to read the Dark Sword series to understand what was going on... But to each their own.
