"This book so far does not focus on the communist rebels only brief mentions continue. Rather a mothers love for her children. Not what I expected and must say ikm disappointed. Expected a fast paced action based story but looks like a womens lit character study.
Also narrator accent driving me crazy. Latest pronounced autumn like onion. Have to stop go back to figure what she said!"

Ikm listening to this one. It seems to have a really slow build up. Nothing has really happened yet so I’ll try to comment on my updates.

No I really cankt it’s for NetGalley!also I’m hoping it will pick up. Maybe I’m just being hypercritical! It was marketed wrong though! Should have stressed the mother child bond theme not the Civil War.
