Well, it was a big disappointment for me. I am glad it was not my first book by the author because for sure it would be the last one. For the most part of the book NOTHING happens - the characters are just walking around, talking and making uninteresting observations. I couldn't even name Exiles a mystery, I have no idea what it is supposed to be.
It lacks EVERYTHING that determines a good suspense and exciting read for me: BORING, no dynamic, no unexpected twists, a dull portrait of small town relationships.
And please, what was THAT at the end?? REALLY?? Totally and utterly unbelievable.
I won't recommend this book.
