My heart is aching so badly… Idk how to put into words how much I LOVE THIS BOOK!!
It was everything I wanted it to be! It made me feel so many different emotions all at ones. Happiness, relief, love, yearning, frustration and so much more. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions.
I‘m absolutely in love with Cassandra Clare now. I thought book 1 was amazing but she outdid herself with this one. The conflicts of this novel were absolutely mind blowing, the betrayal of certain characters broke my heart, learning more about each and every character made me love them even more and don’t get me started on the freaking romance!!!!
The romance had my heart melting and aching all at the same time. I don’t want to spoil for the once who haven’t read the series yet and are planning on going in spoiler free, but the romance will have you screaming, crying and throwing up all at the same time. I‘m so excited on how book 3 is going to develop it further. I hope things will turn out the way I hope they will…
Also I didn‘t think that I could fall even more in love with Will than I did in book 1 but book 2 once again exceeded my expectations. Will deserves the absolute world and I love him so freaking much. I hope he will finally get the love and happiness he deserves in book 3.
Same goes to Jem. He‘s an absolute angel and I only want him to be happy and I‘m so fucking scared that neither him nor Will will get that but I‘ll try to stay optimistic.
I‘m also loving how my girl Tessa is slowly getting stronger and stronger as a character overall. I love her so much and I love how I can relate to her in many different aspects. I‘m just so excited to see her further development in book 3.
Magnus Bane is also one of the best characters everrrr. I have loved him since watching the TV show and I still do while reading the books. He‘s just so freaking iconic.
Overall, I‘m absolutely, completely and deeply in love with this trilogy and its characters and I‘m so freaking intrigued on how it is going to continue but I also don’t want it to end at the same time …
