Everyone was right about this book. Phew, that was fun!
I classify this as a stalker-lite. (vs the much darker Twist Me series by Anna Z)
“You’re light, but you crave the dark. You crave me.”
From his immediate obsession with her, to all of his sneaky plans, I loved it!
Contemporary suspense/romance
Dark-ish
Everything is consensual, with the exception of the kidnapping
He is so patient, like a spider carefully wrapping up a fly
No virgins (no manwhore behavior either)
The relationship Sebastian had with his father was perfect
I love that the h is a biology high school teacher
The H is CEO of his own company

Yay, happy you loved Sebastian too! I also classify this as stalker lite and not fully dark and I love your analogy of him as a spider. He was so steadily intent on her and how he could have her.
