A good book.
It's nice to see things from Tawnypelt's perspective. It's sad to see what this cat has gone through... Her son drowned under ice, her daughter was killed by Darktail and her lover was brutally murdered in front of her eyes.
Shadowclan has made her suffer so much, first when her father became leader, second when Sol tricked Blackstar, third when her clan decided to go against Rowanstar and yet here she is, showing her loyalty to her clan.
I understand her doubts and the need to leave Clan territory. I would feel like a complete stranger among these cats. I hate how Tawny has to just accept her fate and "adjust" to the new shadowclan... I recently finished the 5th book of the 6th Arc so I have no idea how good Tigerstar is as a leader but I would have loved seeing Tawnypelt become a leader and build her clan the way she wanted to.
