Wow this book made me feel things. Raphael π§π»ββοΈπ§π»ββοΈπ§π»ββοΈπ§π»ββοΈπ§π»ββοΈπ§π»ββοΈ
I guess I have a type. I was kicking my feet and giggling through this entire book over this man. I loved the banter between Rafe and Penny. The build-up was slooow. There needs to be more romance duets because the pacing was impeccable.
I love Kai from King of Pride, and Christian from The Maddest Obsession. Rafe has just kicked it up a notch by doing it 10x better than any of his competitors. Love seeing a composed man lose his mind over a girl. Angelo and Rory's book doesn't even come close to this book. Rafe and Penny also have the age gap issue (34 and 21) but they were waaay less annoying compared to Angelo and Rory. Rory acted like a child and while Angelo acted like a dad, Rafe and Penny felt a lot more balanced. Their attempts to one-up each other were so well done. Penny is so quick on her feet. I'm in awe of her.
I'm not sure I'm going to emotionally recover from this.
