3.5**** stars

Many many years ago I read Treue ist auch keine Lösung: Ein Plädoyer für mehr Freiheit in der Liebe (German, non-fiction), which, considering the content, I would loosely translate to “monogamy isn’t the solution either”. It is an interesting read for sure, a discussion about love and relationships that gives you a lot to think about the concept of monogamy in our society as well as other (underrepresented) alternatives even tho you’d might never really consider them for yourself. And what Finn, one of the three main characters here said/argued, reminded me a lot of this book and I very much agreed.

Anyways, back to this book… I loved these characters. The story was sweet, heartwarming and hot. But I was also super bored with it at times. Still, can’t bring myself to rate it only three stars so I’m rounding up.

Btw, loved Alex’s friendship with Anh.

“Okay, next topic. What’s been going on with you?”
She shrugs. “Got a new vibrating dildo.”
“Anh!” I gasp in delight. […]
“Chris Humsworth and I are getting along just fine,” she adds.

Amina Chris Humsworth - that made me laugh. ☺️ And I agree, what might not work for you, doesn't mean that it wouldn't work for others, so it is nice to read relationships that expand on that. Sorry that it wasn't as enjoyable as the previous books in the series, but glad you were able to enjoy it, somewhat. 💕

~Nicole~ 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That quote is hilarious. I’ve only read Malibu and I loved it but I think I would get bored with the rest of the books. I saw you loved Malibu most too

Kati *☆・゚ [a bit distracted atm] @Amina - I laughed so hard as well. I wish people would think and talk more openly about the alternatives of monogamy and I'm even sure if it wasn't such a taboo to think and talk about it it probably could even safe some marriages. 😅

Kati *☆・゚ [a bit distracted atm] @Nicole - I liked Dix a lot too, the storyline was right up my alley and I'm honestly bummed this didn't work as good for me. So far the other books are not calling my name but we'll see. And yes, that quote was hilarious. 😂
