This was a very lovely romance from my new favorite woman, Marie Sexton. I didn't love Cole and Jonathan together at first and I wasn't sure how she would turn this book around. Slowly but surely, I fell for these characters and saw what all the fuss was about.
Now did I love this as much as Promises? No, no, no... sorry, for me they aren't even close. I think part of that has to do with the fact that I have a weakness (with a capital W) for gay first-timers and out-for-you themes. I also had a little bit of trouble connecting with Cole and Jonathan. They are both so closed off and emotionally distant that it took me a lot longer to warm up to them than it did with Matt and Jared. I also think that this book could have been a wee bit smuttier for my taste.
However, was this book beautiful and skillfully written? Absolutely. It, like "Promises", kept me up late into the night. I love the way Marie Sexton writes first person POV and creates electric chemistry. All in all a very sweet, romantic read.

I read this one first. This one was my favorite. It makes some references to the other MC's from the first three books but it was a great story on its own.

you can, but you'll probably want to read Paris (book 5) afterwards and you should really read A to Z (book 2) before that one (you'll want to know all the guys before book 5 because they all meet up)
Ooo, then you get to read SfD 2 (Fear, hope & Bread pudding) which is freakin' fabulous!!
love my Coda boys :D :D

Yes Heather, and once again, you are gonna freak the fuck out! It is another of my "fuck yeah" favorites, but it lacks cops so I don't jump up and down quite as high. ;) And the sequel just came out this summer and was glorious.
As the girls here says, absolutely. This and the sequel was my favorite. A gem - it was a great one. :)
Glad you liked it, Heather! It's one of my faves, and one of my most reliable comfort reads. There's just something about Cole... which is especially interesting considering I almost didn't read this book because I didn't think I liked him.

Great! What I lie about this book is the way they fall for each other. One thing that bothered me is that there was a lot of blushing and looking from under bangs. But I love the was they slowly fall in love.
