Everything We Never Said

Grief and loss are such devastating emotions. Reeling from the loss of her best friend, Ella is on a journey to remember what happened the night of their accident and continue to find her normal after a tragic accident left her with no memory of the day and her friend Hayley passing away.
The story follows Ella during all of the emotions that follow- guilt & responsibility for the accident, survivors guilt, loss of a loved one, love after loss, having to get back to living her everyday life, and feeling judged by others. Her search for the truth and desire to find out what may have happened is the main purpose in the book.
I enjoyed how real the story and emotions felt as I followed along on this amazing story. There was some teen angst woven in too- to keep with the YA feel. There are some surprises along the way keeping you guessing which made this a fun read- with a very dramatic twist that I was shocked by and loved.
A great read, easy to follow- but not without its heavy topics. TW: domestic abuse.
