When Sarah accepts an interview thru a temp. agency, she had no idea it would lead to a job working for two handsome young men and encountering a revengeful ghost haunting an old barn. Set in post WWI England, the engaging beginning of this debut novel by Simone St. James combines some spooky thrills with a mystery to solve and a romance to enjoy. (if you enjoy romance)
The imperative need to unravel the past surrounding Maddy's sad and short life made for a fast read and entertaining ghost story. Well done debut!

Curious to know if you think it is scary?
It has its moments Susan especially in the beginning, but it takes a lot to scare me so I'd have to say not for me, BUT if you like murder and mystery and romance with sex, it's good. I did like it! (Are you looking for scary?)
