Yeah...me too; this one, The Little Prince, Stuart Little, The Trumpet of the Swan and a number of others. Sometimes it's nice though to read them as adults whereby the message conveyed is better understood and more powerful. I'd like to some day write children's books (my dream)so I tend to read a few :)
I read 'The Little Prince' a couple of years ago and I did not enjoy it at all. Everyone seems to adore it, but all I recall was small planets with stupid people on them trying to be philosophical.
I haven't read 'Stuart Little' either. I read plenty as a child too. I guess I was too busy reading other stuff like Enid Blyton.

Hi Lynda:
I missed out on reading this as a child as well. I'll make up for it though. Hope it didn't make me a worse of a person. Hope I didn't miss something important because I didn't read it!
Loved your creative review. Yes, you could indeed write a children's book. No doubt. :-)

LOL - I loved The Little Prince!
I grew up in a family of non-readers. To this day I am the only one who reads. That's not to say I didn't have books, but they were the standard run of the mill stuff. Perhaps that's why I enjoy this genre so much now.

Hey Cathy - No - it didn't make you a worse of a person; you epitomize the values of friendship. :))
Thanks for your kind words of support, and belief. One day!

I was lucky enough to read this as a child; every child sometimes feels alone. It's nice to think that we each have our own Charlotte.

I agree. And they are the ones to be treasured.
