I've really started to enjoy these author's stories. In this case Braxton gets traded to the Nashville Grizzlies. Great because he hates his Boston team and also his childhood crush Trevor is the Captain. Trevor lived with Braxton's family when he was just starting out and played on the same hockey team as Braxton's dad, but Braxton was 12 and Trevor was 20 and oblivious to a kid.

His dad steps in and asks Trevor to take Brax in until he finds a place. Trevor doesn't feel he can say no but is stressed because he's a little and his house has been in his sanctuary. When he freaks out Seth and boyfriend step in and tell him they know, so no stress. Meanwhile Brax is a dom whose roommate tells him he should be a Daddy Dom and starts sending him links to littles getting it in Braxton's head. When it turns out Trevor is a little, there is some dancing around because the idea of anyone finding out freaks out Trevor, but eventually they hook up and the team and their friends accept their relationship. Obviously they don't mention the kink stuff.

Now would there be a team that open? I'd hope so. There is lots of hockey stuff here, Trevor gets hurt and gets treatment, how practices work and about the team camaraderie, game play, etc. But despite being a little, on the ice and off, Trevor is the captain, the leader, making sure everyone is okay and ready to roll and that doesn't change. There are hockey fights and playoff drama, but it was a sweet story without too much relationship drama.

I'd say you should read Seth's story first to get to know some of the main characters surrounding Trevor and understand more about how the team works, the bears, etc. Lots of overlap from other books. You could certainly read it as a stand-alone but it is more satisfying if you know who everyone is.
