Bowser Jr.
Welcome to the official IGN Wiki Guide and Walkthrough for Mario Golf Super Rush on Nintendo Switch. In this section, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about Bowser Jr.
Bowser Jr. has middle-of-the-road stats pretty much across the board. This makes him a solid character to play as while you learn your playstyle. Let's look at his stat breakdown

Bowser Jr. isn't a slump in any stat outside of stamina. Outside of that one area, he's decent at just about everything.
- Power - 215 yards: Jr. won't blow you away with power, but he has more than enough to be successful on most holes.
- Stamina - 9/15 hearts: As mentioned above, Bowser Jr. doesn't have great stamina. It won't completely kill him in speed golf, but it does mean you have to manage his bar more.
- Speed - 8/10: Not perfect, but certainly not as slow as his father.
- Control - 7/10: Again, he doesn't have perfect control, but this rating means you'll hit a fair number of his shots straight.
- Spin - 3/10: Top-tier starting spin will lead to wild shots as you unlock new club sets.
Bowser Jr.'s Special Shot
Bowser Jr.'s special is a bit of a weird one. He coats the ground around the balls landing zone in a blinding smoke. This makes it tough for players inside the smoke to hit their next shot, but isn't quite as effective as some of the other unique shots.
That isn't to say it doesn't serve a purpose. You can really mess up your opponents with this one, it just doesn't seem as effective as someone like Wario's special shot.
Bowser Jr.'s Club Sets
Bowser Jr. unlocks new club sets at 1,000 and 3,000 Character Points respectively. Each set of clubs upgrades his power by 30 yards each and sees him lose a bit of control to gain more spin. Those added spin bars can be used to better shape shots, making up for the lack of control.
Getting Character Points is as easy as playing the game with Bowser Jr. The better you do on a course, the more points you'll receive. For example, on a three-hole course, you'll get 60 points for sinking three birdies and only 30 points for three pars. In total, it took us about 200 holes on average to unlock both sets while just playing normally.
