Kobojunkie: I am sorry if you think it is see you see wahala. I am just trying to see if there is any source of proof other than a faceless person making comments that are unverifiable. How can I answer your question when you did not pose it to me to begin with? I asked you a question and I think you were asking other people questions. No need to use anger and dribble around giving me a source of your claims. It seems when people around here can't justify comments they make they break it down calling questions "silly claims". I have no proof so I can deny that you truly know. |

asha 80: I am yet to see any IGBO that is averse to a sovereign state. I have seen diverse opinions on how the cause should be achieved (some dont believe in Uwazurike's method , others do) but no Igbo man and I repeat , Igbo man on earth would not want to live and see the actualization of a sovereign state. |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:01am On Jul 04, 2009 |
savanaha: Source or proof for what exactly? That NOT ALL IBOS SUPPORT THE BIAFRA DREAM?? SERIOUSLY?? You really NEED PROOF for that ? Or are you just trying to drive this where it ought not to go? I mean what the heck are you going on and on about the people I know. You do not know them, and I don't it is relevant that you do here since this is not about them but just that they are an example of the fact that NOT ALL IBOS SUPPORT THE BIAFRAN DREAM!!! |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:03am On Jul 04, 2009 |
OK OOO!!! I guess @Asha is WRONG. ALL IBOS want to Live in Biafra and Not Nigeria !! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Kobojunkie: When people talk about the facts that igbos are not united sometimes i wonder if we talking about unity in looting the treasure. Have igbos ever claime to be saints? Uche2nna: Igbos in general want an egalitarian society that is just which is non existent in nigeria that makes biafra desirable since the igbo society in egalitarian in nature. |

Kobojunkie: Kobojunkie, who on earth are you to know what Igbo people are doing? |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:12am On Jul 04, 2009 |
asha 80:Well, unity in looting will be a start though, don't you think? asha 80:You don’t have to claim to be saints, but if your reason for insulting others is simply cause they insult you too then why complain about it? Why feel targeted when you admit you do exactly the same as others? asha 80:Ibos want an egalitarian society, so do the other groups in Nigeria. That does NOT make Biafra desirable in my opinion. It is to me like admitting your house is in shambles and then telling me the only way is to buy a new house. Does not COMPUTE! |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:13am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Ezeágu: Roflmao!!! Who on earth are the IBOS that they should not be subject to the same natural laws that govern other tribes? NO ONE GROUP OF PEOPLE, NOT EVEN AMERICANS, American Indians, Sunnis, Shites, even brain dead Zombies etc are 100% for any cause. Are the ibos the one group to break this mold? Says who? ![]() |

Kobojunkie: Oh go away, buzz off you don't know nah-tin. What is it to you if Igbo people decide to move to mars? go and get an Igbo mate and stop disturbing us. Were slaves 100% for the Southern confederacy? |

Re: The Map Of Biafra by Ezeagu2: 12:17am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Kobojunkie: No, I don't I'm ignorant, how can you be telling people what they think and then expect them to be courteous to you? |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Uche2nna(m): 12:17am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Kobojunkie: Yeah, if U have spent 40 something years trying to fix the house and no progress, it is only wise to look for alternatives, of which buying a new house is one of them. Another scenario where U would wanna buy a new house and jettison the old one is if a better house comes along. Geddit? |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by asha80(m): 12:18am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Well, unity in looting will be a start though, don't you think? From you very funny. If igbos start that you will be the first to lament. You don’t have to claim to be saints, but if your reason for insulting others is simply cause they insult you too then why complain about it? Why feel targeted when you admit you do exactly the same as others? Yes i should just swallow the insults even when i try to avoid it.Like the "my pikin episode". Ibos want an egalitarian society, so do the other groups in Nigeria. That does NOT make Biafra desirable in my opinion. It is to me like admitting your house is in shambles and then telling me the only way is to buy a new house. Does not COMPUTE! Even some yorubas and of course hausa do not agree to this. |

Uche2nna: What if you were tricked into renting the house? |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:21am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Ezeágu: But I never did that. I simply told you, straight up, that NOT ALL IBOS ARE PRO-BIAFRA. I gave examples of some I know of. And I even went ahead and stated for a Fact that people are NEVER 100% for a cause just because you say they are. Eg. Christians, Muslims. We have numerous examples of where groups continue to REMAIN DIVIDED when it comes to issues. I don't know what part of that warrants my getting slugged at all. |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Uche2nna(m): 12:26am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Ezeágu: Another reason to quit!!! So I dont really know what Kobo's analogy was meant to achieve? ![]() |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:26am On Jul 04, 2009 |
asha 80:Huh?? I would lament? Hausas do it, though not in unison. Yoruba’s do it, though not in Unison. Ibos do it, though not in Unison. You think say if the Ibos decide to step up their game and make it an ethnic-wide trade, I go lament more?? Roflmao!! asha 80:Well, I didn’t say you should swallow the insults but Just don’t come back playing the VICTIM CARD. It just comes off as being really pathetic. asha 80:In much the same way as some Ibos do not agree to the same. Your point? |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Ezeagu2: 12:29am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Kobojunkie: Did all the southerners agree with the Southern American Confederacy? |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:31am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Uche2nna:a) You never really did much to try to fix the house all through the 40 year period. Please let us stick to reality here. The proof is in the fact that even the Ibo communities are no better in any shape or form than their Yoruba or hausa counterparts. b) A better house hAS NOT COME ALONG, instead you are DREAMING UP a better house, even though you have yet to PROVE you can even handle owning a house. By my assessment, Ibos have yet to prove, like every other tribe in that country, themselves capable of handling responsibilities that come with owning a house. They say if you prove yourself capable of managing the little you have, life is bound to give you more. So far, Ibos are no better in handling their affairs then any other tribe. So again, NEW HOUSE does not compute. |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:32am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Ezeágu:Well, consider what happened to them. ROFLMAO!! |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Ezeagu2: 12:36am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Kobojunkie: Yeah, they were reabsorbed into the country without marginalisation. They also held slaves which was part of their downfall. ![]() |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by asha80(m): 12:38am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Kobojunkie: My point is simple.Nigeria is on a fast forward match to to a failed state because we refused to resolve the fundamental problems rocking this country since we run away from them hoping God in his infite mercies would perfom a miracle on the country. This the big difference between europians and nigerian or africans in general. The issue of ethnicity cannot be wished away.Until basic fundamental issues destroying the country (ethnicity being one of them) then we will continue to grovel with the seondary issues cropping out and increasin daily which in turn makes ethnic agitation desirable.Do not even ask me what these fundamental issues are unless you are trying to be funny. Well one is who is a nigerian? |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:40am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Ezeágu: Well, they were definitely absorbed but be sure they did not do so WILLINGLY!! For one thousands fought and died to prevent absorbtion for years. You only need to take a trip down to the south today and you are sure to find people, and families still holding on to that old dream, their own "Biafran" ![]() ![]() ![]() [s]this is some seriously aggressive minority we are dealing with here. I shouldn't have asked that question ooo!! [/s] ![]() ![]() |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Uche2nna(m): 12:47am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Kobojunkie: U asking for us to stick to reality here and U go off making bogus claims, even before the war there were attempts to fix a leaking faucet and all those attempts came to nought. Take out the Igbos and their clamour for independence from the equation, how much and well have Nigeria fared. An indication of that is the upheaval in the Niger delta. How many times have the idea for resource control being mooted and how many times have that being smooched up. I remember Obj going around mouthing his mouth off in the North in 2002 just before the Sovereign National conference that the reason behind the civil war was fought was because of resource control as if the North needed any persuasion to vote against that. Take that for ur repairs!!!! Kobojunkie: The point is that I am not asking U to leave ur house and come live in my dream house. If U think it is a dream, then leave me to go live my dream. I am the one who is going to end up homeless , not you. So if U dont have some ulterior motives, why are U insisting I stay. I know U dont love me ![]() Kobojunkie: Who the Bleep are U? ![]() So u are saying that if the British had not amalgamated us in 1914 , all the tribes in the geographical space called Nigeria would have gone extinct? ![]() |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Ezeagu2: 12:47am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Kobojunkie: The United States left Britain, remember. Those southerners are not very rationale and they held slaves who rebelled against them, Biafra is a totally different scenario. But what about Serbia and Montenegro, or Czechoslovakia? |
Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:48am On Jul 04, 2009 |
asha 80:Ok. According to you, Nigeria is on a fast forward match to becoming a definite failed state because we refuse to resolve the fundamental problems rocking the country. But the Ibos are amongst those refusing to resolve the fundamental problems rocking the country. The Ibos have themselves turned a blind eye to the problem, just as the yorubas and Hausas have. So, I still see a disconnect here between the problem and Biafra being a possible solution. asha 80:These same problems exist with the ibo tribe itself. The Ibos grovel amongst themselves when it comes to this issue so why then prescribe a solution that in no way addresses the problem as the best one? Again, you are trying to tell me that even though you have not shown yourself a good home owner, you deserve a new home. |

Re: The Map Of Biafra by Kobojunkie: 12:57am On Jul 04, 2009 |
Uche2nna:Bogus claims? You still believe that the claim that NOT ALL IBOS support the BIAFRAN DREAM is BOGUS? Lol I will laugh and leave it there!! The war took place in 67. Nigeria was BARELY even a nation at that time( the house was not even completed at the time) and you think that is enough? You claimed you had worked on the house for over 40 years, I ask when and what did you do that is MORE than other tribes have done in the same time towards building a better nation for all, or even for just your people? Uche2nna:The Ibos themselves are no better. So what is your point? Uche2nna:Huh?? Uche2nna:But dude . . . . I am glad you finally arrived at this spot because this is where my first question begins. You claim you are leaving with your people but NOT ALL YOUR PEOPLE DESIRE TO LEAVE. What happens then? Uche2nna: But dude. . . . You did not have to prove anything to me, but you did anyways. Ibos have not proven themselves any better than the other tribes when it comes to government, economy etc. Did not say that, just said it happened, we just have to deal with the after, not continue to fantasize about what could have been if things had not happened the way they did. |
