Georgette fabric is a sheer, lightweight apparel fabric with a crinkly texture that can be used for blouses, dresses, scarves, and other flowy, sheer garments.

Georgette, which is made from highly twisted yarns of silk or polyester, is similar to chiffon fabric but it's not as lustrous. It has a dull crepe finish and drapes beautifully.
