Area of origin: Eastern region of North America. Introduced in 1755.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 10m (32.8'), width up to 8m (26.3').
Foliage: deciduous
Soil Type: Deep and fresh.
Hardiness: Hardy to -32�C.
Exposure: Semi-shade to full sun.


Properties and uses:
The foliage of this tree turns to a beautiful butter yellow in autumn. It has �snakeskin� bark which is very attractive and creates interest. This tree grows very quickly and is planted alone or in groups, it can be cut to shape such as into a standard.
