Anna informs Gwen that she’s planning to give Carol her medical files with a timeline of the malpractice on Sunday night's Fair City.
Gwen - realising the repercussions- pleads with Anna to reconsider. Joan and Rafferty tentatively navigate their new relationship. Anna takes responsibility when Pete tries to blame Gwen.
Joan and Rafferty agree to take their relationship one day at a time. A miserable James continues to cast doubt on his father’s new relationship.

Later, Joan meets with Dolores and Pete to discuss legal strategy . She tells Dolores that Anna’s complicity in everything is key to minimising damage.
Dolores tries to keep Anna sweet, but when Anna announces she’s quitting and leaving Dublin, Dolores fears the consequences.
Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Dean tries to sell some pricey artisan chocolates for the charity race.
Victor comes to the rescue when a work problem almost prevents Maxine from participating in the race. A feuding Babs and Maxine make amends and prepare for the race.
Victor makes it back in time to see Babs cross the finish line. Babs and Maxine plan another race together to reach their target time.
When Victor offers to help Dean shift his fancy chocolates, Babs is attracted to his salesman persona. Are these two going to rekindle their romance?
Meanwhile, Sean tells Bosco that he accepts his relationship with Anna is “friends with benefits” and nothing more. Sash, Renee and Hughie worry how Sean will take the news that he’s back to playing an elf.
Sean is irked at Sash for trying to distract him from his supposed traumatic breakup with Anna. He confronts Anna about Gwen’s lie that he’s heartbroken over her, and they clarify their romantic position.
