-Review five vowel sounds -Sing the Long Vowel song from Lesson #4 located under the Lessons tab. -Review the two rules we have learned utilizing the Super Silent E and CD player along with the When two vowels go walking rhyme. -Mark the vowels in the following words on the board as a whole class: BRAIN, MEAN -Ask for a few volunteers to come up to the front of the room to wear the letter necklaces to create the words: TEAM and RAIN -A volunteer should mark the vowel accordingly using a dry erase marker -Mark the vowels in the following words on the board as a whole class: BAKE and SMILE -Ask for a few volunteers to come up to the front of the room to wear the letter necklaces to create the words: TUBE and TIME -A volunteer should mark the vowel accordingly using a dry erase marker -Complete the lesson by viewing the Prezi presentation located under the Lessons Tab Lesson #5 on our website. Objective
SWBAT: 1. Recognize the long vowels sounds of a, e, i, o, and u. vowel sounds. 2. Identify the long vowels (a, e, i, o, u). 3. Produce one long vowel word per long vowel.

Accommodations
*This lesson could be taught in a small group or one on one setting. *Rather than viewing the words on the chalkboard, a premade print out could be at a students seat. *Student could use letter tiles at their seat

words, then erasing the marks before moving on to the next word. -Complete by allowing three students to come to the board, each writing a word with a long vowel in it.
