    Flower Lab Report

    Problem/ Purpose:
    The purpose of this lab is to see if a seed can grow
    when put in a colder and darker area such as a
    refrigerator.

    Hypothesis:
    If I put my plant in a refrigerator then the seed will
    sprout and grow.

    Materials:
    soil
    seeds
    water
    planter
    refrigerator

    Procedure:
    1. Fill pot with cups of soil
    2. Bury the seed 1 inch into the soil
    3. Put of a cup of water into the pot (everyday)
    4. Put the pot into the refrigerator

    Conclusion
    Our purpose of our plant lab was to see if a flower
    would germinate in a colder, darker environment such as a
    refrigerator. Our hypothesis stated that if we put the plant
    in this environment then it will germinate and sprout. Some
    of the materials we used to make this experiment possible
    included seeds, plastic containers, water, a thermometer
    and a refrigerator. Our hypothesis ended up being
    incorrect and we did not only get no growth on our
    experimental plant but also got no growth on our control
    plant. For our charts we took the results of our classmates
    plants and used that to create them. Next time we do this
    experiment one thing we could change in order to make it
    better is probably monitor our plants a bit better.
