    Natural Cycle
    • Sun Energy - Solar Panel – Electricity – Appliances
    – Some appliances produce heat, sound, light. Etc
    • Solar-powered devices are the most direct
    way of capturing the sun’s energy,
    harnessing it, and turning it into something
    useful.

    • Eg, like solar car, they use electricity to


    produce…some electricity overcome
    friction force and some is for air-con….so
    that’s how energy being used…the output
    is heat, light etc…
    • The output is dependant of what appliances
    is used.

    • Solar Cells, or photovoltaic cells, are


    arranged in a grid-like pattern on the surface
    of the solar panel. These solar voltaic cells
    collect sunlight during the daylight hours and
    covert it into electricity.

    • Carbon-dioxide is not emitted by using solar.


    Environmental Impact

    • 0% emission of carbon dioxide
    • Cut down burning of fossil fuels
    • Electricity generated without any pollutants
    • There will be a reduction of carbon dioxide in
    atmosphere
    • Prevent the global from warming up
     Ice cap melting etc
    • Generate no harmful greenhouse gases
    • Prevent the change of climate
    • Free energy from the sun
    Disadvantage
    Weather depend
    Large surface area
    Expensive to produce
    Efficiency is less than 20%
    Electricity produce by solar is more expensive than
    burning fossil fuels.

    Remedial Measures
    • Reduce the usage of non-recyclable
    materials used in making the Solar Cell

    • Some of the solar cell are made by non-


    recyclable materials.
    • This is a problem as it would deplete the
    earth’s natural resource as time goes by.
    Remedial Measures
    • Increase efficiency of solar cell per
    meter-sq so that the solar cell would
    not take up a lot of space

    • Solar Cells needs a big area to be


    effective.
    • This is a problem for small towns and
    cities.
    Remedial Measures
    • Use more of organic based products
    to make the solar cell

    • Manufacturing solar cells needs different


    chemicals to produce a cell.
    • The chemicals are harmful if not disposed
    properly.
