PSIII - Teaching Internship (Spring 2015)
Taught half time during the internship (FSL 4, FSL 5, LA 5, Math 5 and ECS Immersion Music)
Participated in school activities, meetings, and supervision. Committee work includes library
committee and hand bell choir.
Developed long range, unit and lesson plans in conjunction with curriculum offerings and
evaluated student work. Delivered report card marks with sufficient evidence for grades, and
met with students and parents during Parent-Teacher interviews to discuss grades and social
behaviors. Developed and maintaining communication with parents through sent-home notes,
emails, meetings etc.
Completed Professional Development Project (on developing Precision Reading resources for
English Students and instructional and informational video for parents).
Tutored a Grade 4 student once a week.
Taught approximately half time for the first part of the practicum, and taught two thirds of the
course load by the end of the practicum.
Developed short term and long-term lesson planning for LA 7, Social 8, Foods 7 and a unit plan
for FSL 9.

Part time student assistant position (9 hrs per week) while attending University of Lethbridge;
Part time General Clerk position (Summer of 2014); responsibilities included for circulation and
archiving of Curriculum Laboratory materials (books and kits); processing materials to be put
out onto shelves (labeling, strip taping etc) and shelf reading (sorting materials by Dewy
Decimal System); created and sourced materials for bulletin boards and book displays for
different themes/subjects; assisted in searching for new employers; trained new employees;
organized and implemented student assistant semester schedules.

Internship summer position. Work included managing the SCF office before and after the
Festival (managing and distributing tickets, sales management of presale tickets; organization
and cleanliness of office; brainstorming for reorganization grant applications and other
programs used; assisting with organization and care for musicians and merchants, writing bio's
of performers for program, designing layout for program, recording monthly financial
transactions, preparing wrist band packages etc.). Duties during the festival included organizing
and managing front gate ticket sales, preparing and distributing meals for hospitality, IT
computer systems; set up and strike of stage and hospitality; paying and accommodating
performers and vendors.

I am fluent in French, with a working knowledge of Spanish. I actively maintain and engage
in the language through volunteering, friends and family and work.
I have a strong passion for the arts, particularly music. I play folk music with a variety of
artists, namely my fianc.
I enjoy volunteering for the South Country Fair every summer, experiencing and working
with various musical and materials artists from around the world as well as developing a
strong managerial and organizational work ethic.
I posses strong computer skills with Mac and PC including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power
Point as well as Adobe Creative Suite.
I have a love for photography, video-editing and graphic design. I have developed
products, advertisements and video projects including film-editing and sound design for
both non-for profit organizations and businesses.
