Attendance
Our attendance is improving thank you for bringing your child to school every day. All children with
96% or above attendance between 2nd September and 24th March have received an Easter egg. All
parents will have received a coaster whose childs attendance was 100% for the Spring term, we thank
our parents for doing this.
Easter Activities
National Media Museum Horrible Science, between 25th March and 10th April. For more
information visit www.nationalmediamuseum.or.uk/horrible
We have sent out the Yorkshire Magnificent Attractions discount booklet (1 per family). This
includes discount vouchers for Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Cannon Hall Farm, The Deep, Diggerland,
Eureka, Lightwater Valley and lots more exciting places.
Childrens Home Activity for Easter
Please encourage your child to do this activity. It would be lovely if you all worked together as a
family as this will help the children with the difficult bits.
The Website
Keep up to date with all the latest news by visiting our school website www.fagley.bradford.sch.uk
Click on the Lets Celebrate link to see which children have been awarded in the weekly celebration
assembly. Remember to visit School News to find out what has been happening throughout the school.
Scarecrows
We hope that you visit our scarecrows at some point! All children from year 1 to year 6 have studied
Bradford this last term where the inspiration has come from. You may like them, hopefully the birds
will not!
Practice
Please encourage your child to read over the holiday, to practise their times tables and spellings of
words (the lists you were given on parent consultation day) and also in the activity pack they are
bringing home.
The Olympics (Rio 2016)
Each class will be studying a country next term. The countries are as follows as you may want to look
into some of the traditions of the countries. Food is always a good place to start!
