Sacrum
It is triangular bone has base which lies superiorly & apex lies inferiorly
It consists of 5 sacral vertebra fused together
Vertebral foramen of all 5 sacral vertebra form (Sacral canal)
Anterior & posterior surfaces of sacrum has 4 foramina called anterior & posterior sacral
foramen
The upper & anterior part of sacrum is called (Promontary of sacrum)
Sacrum articulates laterally with iliac bone to form (Sacroiliac joint)
Sacrum articulates superiorly with lumbar vertebra to form (lumbosacral joint)

Coccyx
consists of 4 vertebrae fused together to form triangular bone which articulates with lower
end of sacrum
