Assignments and hands on session for my part:

1) The whole class will be divided into 7 groups and

each group will be assigned a TA.
2) The assignments will consist of writing fortran
Programs (they will be given during the practicals).
3) For each assignment set, each student will make a
directory named name_regno_assignmentno.
Each assignment will contain a certain no. of
exercises in which you will be asked to write a
Fortran code. Save each file with the following name
problemno_name.extn. All the files for a given
assignment set should be saved in
name_regno_assignmentno directory. Then tar &
compress the directory and email it to the TA
assigned to you.
How to tar & compress a directory in linux:

tar -cvzf directory.tar.gz directory

NO PRINT OUTS OF THE PROGRAM WILL BE ACCEPTED.
YOU MUST EMAIL THE SOFT COPY

Regarding credits for the assignments:

The assignments will be given during the hands on session

and there will be a due date for submission. All assignments
should reach to the TA by E-MAIL within the due date.

You are permitted to submit assignment after the due date but
those who submit within the due date will get extra credits

Those who can finish the assignments within

the hands on session and have it mailed to the TA will get
additional credits
