End of 2012
Having lived in Uganda for the past five years, Natalie serves as the program coordinator at Lulwanda Childrens Home - a home for 109 orphans.
newsletter is thankfulness. I am
thankful that God reminds me of his faithfulness in different ways throughout each day. I am so thankful to be living in Gods grace. A friend that lives in Uganda told me this year, It is Gods grace that brought us here
grow
and
their
personalities
develop, I, too, get to observe the same miraculous transformation in the lives of 109 children at Lulwanda Childrens Home (LCH). God is raising up leaders, scholars, pastors, teachers, and everything in between. It is a joy to see them grow.

Insight into the Program Coordinator Role As program coordinator, one of my main duties is to host visitors. This task is bigger than it sounds. Plans, preparations, bookings, and organizing begin as early as January. As God continues to make His name great through LCH, more individuals and teams want to be part of what He is doing. This year we hosted three individuals, two teams, two groups of world travellers, and numerous visitors who came for a day or two. From teacher training to painting, shelf building to lip-dub singing, CPR lessons to speech and reading assessments, field days to community outreach with all of our kiddos it has who came for a day or two.
Game Night
A missionarys social life is ever changing as volunteers come from all over the world and stay for any length of time. My housemate, Tiffany, and I began a Tuesday game night that has become a highlight of the week. We have had people from the USA, England, Australia,
Scotland, and New Zealand over for food, fellowship, and fun. Not only am I immersed in the Ugandan culture, but I also am learning about differences between the cultures of the Western world.

Thank You! I am so grateful to all of you who continue to stand with me in this journey. I am grateful for the emails and Facebook messages I receive with encouragement or updates on what is happening in your life. I also have felt the power of your prayers through good health, safety and strength when I am weary. Thank you. And, of course, I am forever grateful to those who stand beside me through their financial support. It is through you that my ministry is possible. So, thank you, each of you, for
greetings
from
during break or lunch. Sometimes, I am surprised as they sneak up behind me and put their hands over my eyes for me to guess who it is. Or, little helpers will sit on my lap as I work, not minding if I speak but just wanting to be near. I often am asked to come see this or that (a puppy, something they planted that is now growing, etc.) or told a story about what
the role you play in my life and at Lulwanda Childrens Home. May the
Lord richly bless you!
