CIMA has an agreement with SKEMA Business
School - France to provide an accelerated
masters degree for CIMA members.
SKEMA Business School is an independent and global
Business School offering management education at
undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels as
well as Executive Education. The school operates from
6 different sites: in France (Lille, Paris la Villette, Paris la
Dfense and Sophia Antipolis), China (Suzhou), Morocco
(Casablanca) and the USA (Raleigh, NC). With more than
6,000 students, it is now Frances largest business school.
SKEMA, which stands for School of Knowledge Economy
and Management, is born from the merger of the Lille
School of Management and CERAM Business School.
SKEMA Business School is regularly ranked in
the Financial Times.
The specialised MSc is a valuable additional postgraduate
qualication for members looking to develop their
managerial and entrepreneurial competencies. The
portfolio of courses, delivered in English at the Paris
campus, will help you gain new expertise and become
a highly skilled manager and decision maker.
The partnership negotiated by CIMA gives members an
exclusive fast-track route to gaining the Masters degree.
Based on the quality of the CIMA qualication, and the
professional experience members hold, members will
only be required to attend a Research Methodology
course and write a professional thesis.
MSc requirements for CIMA members
CIMA members only need to complete the professional
thesis to obtain the MSc.
Course information
There are two intakes per year February and October.
The deadline for admission is mid-September for the
October intake, and mid-January for the February intake..
Professional thesis
The nal assessment is based on the submission of
a professional thesis. A professional thesis is a piece
of academic and empirical research in the eld of
specialisation and is supervised by a member of faculty
throughout the year.
A panel made up of the programme director, supervisor
and faculty marks the professional thesis.
