Southeast Asia: Malaysia (West Malaysia and Borneo), Singapore, Indonesia,
Philippines (Palawan, Calamian Islands, Panay, Luzon), South Thailand, South
Myanmar (Tenasserim), and India (Nicobar Islands).

Description
This species is a bright green Agamid lizard, sometimes possessing a blue tint on the
head. It is able to change colour, turning darker brown when threatened. There is a
dark ring around the eyes, and a dark spot at the back of the head. The males have a
crest on the neck. It has a very long and thin tail (75% of total length).
Size
Body length is of 13 cm, and the total length (body + tail) is of 57 cm.

Reproduction
Lays 1-2 spindle-shaped eggs. Incubation period at 30C about 60-70 days.
Temperature
Temperature between 26-28C, local heat spots up to 33C. Night turn down to 2023C.

UV fluorescent tubes Repti Glo 5 or similar. "Incandescent spot bulb" for a basking
spot.
Substrate
Loose, absorptive substrate Forest bark, coir etc.
Cage Furniture
Branches for climbing, a natural or a structural-background is recommended. Planting
is required (Ficus benjamina, F. pumila, Scindapsus, etc.). Or fit out with artificial
plants. Various hiding places and a large water bowl or tank (possibly even an
Aquaterrarium)
Food
Insects (e.g. crickets, house crickets, Locusts, cockroaches, super mealworms, wax
moths, etc.) Regular additions of "Calcium+D3" and "vitamins" should be dusted on
the food every other feed. Every feed with youngsters in growth.
Comments
A large terrarium is required. Groups should include one male at most.
