Electromagnetic compatibility:
keeping work and communication interference-free.
Electronic devices are extensively tested for electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC). Tests focus on two criteria: resistance
to interference and the emission of interference. On the one
hand they ensure that the accessory operates correctly,
without interference. And on the other they ensure that

electronic devices and radio/communication frequencies.

The hydropulse test stand simulates potholes and poor road conditions.
Winter and summer trials:

coping with extremes.
Winter and summer place extreme demands on the vehicle and
the materials. Thats why Mercedes-Benz Genuine Accessories
undergo rigorous testing in temperatures ranging from 40 C
to +40 C, to ensure optimum functionality at all times. The
winter trials are carried out in Scandinavia and the summer
trials in southern Europe. Special vehicle testing sites and

circuits are used to test performance on different surfaces,
endurance and behaviour on uphill gradients with up to the
maximum vehicle operating load.

integrated GPS receiver to transmit via satellite the precise location of your
vehicle. In an emergency you can therefore respond quickly with cutting-edge
technology. If your vehicle is stolen, you should immediately contact your
alarm centre. The alarm centre network can be contacted round the clock in
36 European countries. Each centre liaises directly with national police forces
to rapidly locate and recover the vehicle. Drivers benet from Europe-wide
roaming thanks to the SIM card reader with monthly contract. The vehicle
tracking software and internet application are included in the specication.
The vehicle tracking system is discreetly tted so it cannot be seen from
