2. Inspect the relay and fuse/relay box socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
z If the terminals are bent, loose, or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
z If the terminals look OK, go to step 3.
3. Make these input tests at the fuse/relay box. See Fig. 7 .
z If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
z If all the input tests prove OK, the turn signal/hazard relay must be faulty; replace it.

3. Check for continuity between the No. 2 and No. 3 terminals.
z There should be continuity with the trunk lid latch unlatched (trunk open).

4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the trunk lid latch switch.

4. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals.
z With the vanity mirror cover (B) opened, there should be continuity.
z With the vanity mirror cover closed, there should be no continuity.

5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulb (C) or the sunvisor.

1. Carefully pry off the lens (A) with a small screwdriver.
