The LM student constructs an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) using the Professional
Sandards (graduate level) to guide their professional learning during EPL 4. This plan
should be ready for enactment by the time the student begins their EPL 4 block. This will
then be reviewed at the end of the ELP experience.

Challenges
-Profiling can be
quite difficult for
me. I find that the
time recording all
the social
development and
interests is
extensive.
-Content areas
such as Science
can be difficult for
me to get my head
around especially
when we get into
class discussions.
-Linking planning
to class profiles.
-Marking and
providing
feedback on
formative
assessment in time
for the next lesson
in sequence.
-Effective
strategies specific
in planning for
certain students.
-Specific feedback
to students rather
than general
feedback.
-Strategies for
Aboriginal, Torres
Strait and
socioeconomic
students.

(End of EPL)
-Work on building
a class profile and
doing personal
quizzes to gather
the info (I already
know) about the
students to easily
access it.
-Research into the
information
thoroughly prior to
implementing the
lessons.
Investigate
resources prior to
lessons in depth.
-Focus on building
class profile more
and using it when
planning lessons
and unit plans.
-Utilizing lunch
times and noncontact time to
mark formative
assessment and
give written
feedback.
-Add
differentiation bar
to LEPs.
-Building on
strategies to
provide feedback
other than verbal
and giving specific
feedback rather
than general.
