7.1 Allgemeines
7.1 General
The following rules are instructions within the meaning of sections 22 and 23
of the German Aviation Regulation (LuftVO). They are also instructions of the
airport operator Flughafen Bremen GmbH (FBG) supplementing the airport
user regulations. The validity of the provisions of the airport user regulations
remains unaffected.
The airport operator FBG has contracted DFS to handle ground traffic on
defined apron areas. This means that DFS is in charge and responsible for
guiding taxiing aircraft on these apron areas with the exception of allocating
aircraft stands and ground handling positions.
gewhrleisten. Den Anweisungen der Flugplatzkontrolle ist in jedem Fall Folge
zu leisten.
Aircraft are allowed to use the aprons only after prior instruction from the DFS
aerodrome control tower over radiotelephony or by marshallers in follow-me
cars. Continuous listening watch on the frequency of the aerodrome control
tower shall be maintained. Instructions from the aerodrome control tower shall
always be followed.
Aircraft towing on the apron is only permitted after the aerodrome control tower
has issued a clearance to this effect. The aerodrome control tower will issue
the clearance to the driver of the follow-me car or to apron control over
radiotelephony or telephone.
7.2.1 FBG apron control will allocate handling positions to aircraft on the apron
and will, as a rule, guide the aircraft by follow-me cars to the allocated
positions.
7.2.2 Aircraft may leave nose-in positions only with the aid of tow tractors.
Reverse thrust or variable pitch propellers shall not be used. Aircraft operators
shall make appropriate arrangements.

7.3.3 If a follow-me car is used to guide a taxiing aircraft, the pilot shall observe
its signals.
