The poem tells the story of a virus falling in love with a host cell. It describes the virus fusing with and entering the cell, sharing nucleic acids. However, the relationship ends when the cell breaks things off, leaving behind only nucleic acids. The virus uses these fragments to replicate itself and synthesize new proteins, assembling the products to begin a new life as a new virus, transformed by its past relationship with the cell.

It started with love Have you met Love? She said Hi to me this morning And I replied Hello She recognized me. Have you saw love? We become great friends We become attached to each other Her proteins on her capsids become adsorptive to me Have you heard love? She said yes.. and now were in a relationship The feeling is mutual Her envelope fuses with my cell membrane She even release her nucleocapsid into my cytoplasm, in my life I could not wish for anything more We are so happy, the emotion is so grand I could sense the touch of heaven here on earth Yes.. it was so awesome But.. things starts to fall apart How could we escape such an inevitable part? If only I could.. But she started to say those words on movies Its not you, its me
binalewala mo lang ang lahat.. and you chose
to break my heart I still fight for us.. for love Trying to keep that we are for each other Putting effort to hold tightly But.. shed let go She left her nucleic acids into my cytoplasm, in my lfe How could I live my life now? How could I start? How? But eventually.. I have to fix my self Trying to pick the remnants she left Using her nucleic acids to form mRNA The only memories she left are used for my DNA replication and protein synthesis I make use of my broken heart to begin my new life I begin to assemble the products of her fragments The process isnt easy It takes time.. for me But finally.. my new life is ousted I am new and away from my past A new virus because of my past, because of her
