    Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs was an American


    information technology entrepreneur and inventor.
    He was the co-founder, chairman, and chief executive
    officer (CEO) of Apple Inc.

    Shortly after his death, Jobs's official


    biographer, Walter Isaacson, described him as a
    "creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection
    and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones,
    tablet computing, and digital publishing."

    He studied primary school in Cupertino Middle School and Homestead High School in H.S., Cupertino. As a
    teenager became interested in computers and assisted lectures HP company, where he got his first job and
    met his future partner Steve Wozniak.

    In 1972 he entered the University Reed College in Oregon, but dropped out after 6 months because of its
    high cost. Between 1974 and 1976 he worked at Atari Inc., where he designed some games. In parallel, he
    started making a computer with Wozniak. In 1976, they founded Apple Computer Company and christened
    his machine Apple I. It was such a success that in 1982, Jobs had become the world's youngest billionaire. In
    1984, Apple launched the Macintosh, the first commercial computer with a graphical user interface. Their
    low commercial acceptance and conflicts with partners led Jobs to give up Apple in 1985.
    In 1986, he founded NeXT Computer Inc., which launched the NeXT computer and operating system
    NEXSTEP. Both products were very useful to the scientist Tim Berners Lee created the World Wide Web
    (WWW) in 1989. In parallel, founded and managed Pixar, the company that produced successful Walt
    Disney animated films as Toy Story (1995) bug's Life (1998), Monsters, Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003),
    Cars (2006) and WALL-E (2008). In 1991 he married Laurene Powell, with whom he had three children.

    In 1996, Apple bought NeXT, bringing Steve Jobs back to his old company that was in decline. The following
    year he regained the lead Apple to make it the company's largest capitalization in the world in 2011. This
    was the result of great technological and commercial innovations such as the iPod (2001) iTunes (2003),
    iPhone (2007) and iPad ( 2010).

    In 2004 he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a disease that caused his death on October 5, 2011, in
    Palo Alto, California, USA Recently, his authorized biography titled "Steve Jobs" by Walter Isaacson was
    published
