EXPERIENCE
Grade writing section of the placement test for new incoming students
Teach low intermediate to advanced level Academic English courses in writing, grammar,
reading, American film & history, Academic discussion, and American TV & culture
Revise and implement the American TV & Culture Studies course curriculum to educate
international students on cultural diversities and increase awareness
Provide academic guidance and moral support to students through one-on-one conferences
Coordinate with academic advisors to monitor and help students of concern (academically,
emotionally, mentally)
Design course syllabi, daily lesson plans, classroom activities, and various forms of
assessment (papers, exams, presentations, etc.)
Restructure course curricula and textbook selections with colleagues
