Engineering and Proposals Manager of offshore pipelaying and heavy lift projects. I design or
review all pipelay installation engineering documents and manage technical & contractual
interfaces with subcontractors. I have finished full conceptual design of conversion of vessel
Persian Pearl to a double joint main and piggy back line pipe layer. Updated load charts of the
main crane of DP3 C Master (X-Jascon5) based on the vessel RAO and DAF. I performed
engineering repair assessment of Glob Pearl jack up rig; and well familiar with ABS-MODU
code and SNAME5-5A for jack up design. As Lead Subsea Pipeline Engineer I have set up the
installation engineering department and prepared or reviewed all respective analysis, procedures,
dossiers etc. So far in this company established for only 3 years we have successfully finished the
176Km of 32” pipelaying of South Pars phases 9&10, 288Km of 32” Sirri-Assaluyeh pipeline
and 8.4Km of shore pulling of 32” South Pars phases 17&18. Now managing the 4.5” & 32”
pipeline installation engineering of South Pars phases 12, 15 & 16 (with length about 200Km
each) and detail engineering review of 10 drilling jack up rigs(300’, 350’ and 400’).

As Offshore Installation Engineer and Manager of ONGC-RPPM Project in Mumbai High
Field, I successfully managed detail and installation engineering and pipelaying of 26 rigid and 7
flexible underwater pipelines, their 52 stalking risers & 14 I Tubes and repair and hook up of 33
offshore platforms. As Operation Manager finished hook up, commissioning and miscellaneous

Lead Hydrodynamician & Project Coordinator for numerical simulation and motion analysis
of hydrodynamic loading on Abouzar1200 heavy lift offshore crane vessel. Instructor of “Ship
Technology”, “Wave Theory” and “Structural Analysis” courses. Supervision of M.Sc. research
students in subjects such as “Optimization of a jack up platform for gulf region”, “Mooring
analysis of crane vessels”, “Float over barge design”, “HLV Crane Test Barge Design”, “Launch
Barge Design”, “Pipelayer Design” and similar titles in offshore engineering.

1. Operation Manager of offshore marine spread of IOEC. Duties include daily management,
manning, repair and maintenance of all IOEC offshore marine spread, updating their
documents and as built drawings. Also worked as Installation Engineer of A12 platform of
Abouzar Extension project; Naval Architect & Designer of two 2000 tones multipurpose
deck cargo and offshore crane test barges. As Lead Pipeline Installation Engineer
successfully finished design of the pipeline firing line for conversion of Abouzar1200 to
single joint main line/piggy back line pipe layer.
2. Lead Installation Engineer and Operation Manager of SPD1, SPD2, SPP1, SPQ1, SPF1 &
SPF2 platforms and bridges of phase 1 of South Pars and A15-A19 platforms of Abouzar
projects. Duties include: project break down, cost analysis, contracts negotiation & draw-up,
bid analysis, preparation of fabrication scopes of work; design and supervision of load out,
transportation, launch, lift and installation of platforms; technical coordination with Clients
and Sub-Contractors from different nationalities (i.e. Engineering, Diving, Survey,
Positioning, ROV, NDT, Marine Warranty Surveyor, Grouting, Man Power Supply, Quality
Control, Marine Transport etc.); Design/review of installation engineering documents (i.e.
structural analysis; lift, load out & launch analysis; jacket & deck transportation analysis;
mooring & ballast analysis; jacket upending & installation analysis; pile monitoring &
drivability analysis; planning & progress control etc.); Inspection of onshore and supervision
of offshore steel fabrication sites and offshore construction vessels; preparation of RFQ’s,
procedures, analysis reports and other paper work.
3. Lead Project Engineer for supervision of installation engineering, HLV crane test, pile
drivability studies, suitability study and purchase of hydraulic hammers at Netherlands and
design of pile internal lifting tools and diamond cutting tools at Italy.

this position I have managed 45 employee in office and 280 in workshop.

supervised steel construction and piping of multi-purpose barges, passenger landing crafts, work
boats, steel fishing vessels; various size air/ground steel fuel storage tanks, Jack up jetty, navy
patrol vessels all under approval of international classification societies.
Feb. 1986 – July 1989. Persian Gulf Shipbuilding Corp.(PGSC). Bandar Abbas, Iran.
Engineering Manager & Project Manager of structural, piping and marine engineering projects
at PGSC shipyard. Designed and/or supervised construction of 64m landing craft, supply vessels,
Tugs, 18000tones ship Synchro-lift and its jetties in shipyard and many ship repair works
including piping and steel works.
