    angioedema & cephalosporins.
    anaphylaxis. Serum To prevent vein
    sickness-like reactions, irritation, avoid
    hemolytic anemia & continuous infusions.
    acute interstitial Change site every 48
    nephritis. hours.
    Give 1-2 hours before
    or 2-3 hours after
    meals to prevent
    gastric irritation.
    Paracetamol IV 150mg/ml 2ml/300mg Analgesic/Antipyretic Contraindicated with drowsiness, nausea, Assess allergic
    allergy to acetaminophen vomiting, abdominal reactions: rash,
    pain, hepatotoxicity, urticaria; if these
    hepatic seizure occur, drug may have
    to be discontinued.
    Teach patient to
    recognize signs of
    chronic overdose:
    bleeding, bruising,
    malaise, fever, sore
    throat.
    Furosemide IM/IV 10mg/ml 20mg/ml Diuretic History of hypersensitivity hypotension, dizziness
    to furosemide or with excessive diuresis
    sulfonamides; increasing
    oliguria, anuria, fluid and
    electrolyte depletion
    states; hepatic coma;
